You know as long as it has a Battle Gown it will be OP I'm still sorting through this stuff a bit, the Amarr scout seems to be lacking but it does have a lot going for it as well. I don't think it's as bad as the hardcore Amarrians think it is. (I've been running scout since Open Beta, and I promise you stamina is awesome for more than just running for a long time) I had pushed for all scouts to have an armour rep of at least 1 to deal with operating in deep territory. 2 would have been really good, and i am leaning in the direction that the Amarr should get that, it should put them on more of an equal footing. Essentially leaving the Gal at 3 representing the +1 that CCP seems to feel the Gal should have (for what reason i don't know, but suspect that the Amarr did not get it because of the dual tank theory they lean towards) I will put all my thoughts down on this subject, but in a more appropriate thread. Anyways, I'm definitely sticking with Amarr Commando after Uprising 1.8, obviously, what about the rest of you guys? Also I had a thought today, remember that bubble shield CCP announced at the same time as the cloak field (March 2013). What if we get that soon as well? It is identical to my proto fit, except I lose one of the armor reps since advanced only gets two lows, and all modules are shifted down to enhanced grade. Funny part? The suit actually costs more than my current advanced commando. New Advanced fit: 55k ISK Old Advanced fit: 51k ISK All those modules adding up. And really the cost of the Commando comes from the fact that light weapons cost a lot more than sidearms. Not too concerned, just thought it was funny. All three tiers for Amarr and the proto versions of all. I assumed level 5 everything and tried fitting them all similarly. From what I gathered, the Gallente proto commando will have the easiest time fitting gear as that was the only one I was able to get dual proto weapons on while not sacrificing any proto modules. Of course, that superior fitting is also met with a superior cost, but still the other Commandos don't seem to have that max potential. Overall, the balance between them doesn't seem far off.
