Feels much better. Also with the crazy reload speed I've started firing all my weapons before I even see the enemy. If I know the enemy is around the corner, I start firing as I move out and aim completely from the hip, quickly reload, and continue. And don't feel bad, Commando's are easier to spot than scouts Less Commando's out there so you stand out and I have a strange propensity for noticing people. Nice sp grind I only managed just under 200k KRRROOOOOOM

I've noticed this too. It feels like 400 shield disappears faster than the 220ish my other suits

Going to use this week to move up into advanced gear finally (armor reps, here I come). I'm finally starting to top the boards for WPs again since making this character. Besides my REs I play pure Amarr with the Scrambler Rifle and Laser Rifle, so for obvious reasons, I cannot WAIT for 1.8 to hit. That said, when it comes to normal heavies and sentinels, I stand no chance whatsoever, even when i get the drop on them. My stomach drops at the very thought of what the matari heavies are going to be like for me =_=

Yeah, the shields are nice once. Otherwise? No regen and you might as well run a Frontline suit. Happily printing ISK with permahardeners and MLT blasters. Minmatar and Caldari Commandos sure will have a role Min Com best AV Cal Com best sniper (may actual make sniping relevant due to being able to switch to a RR) Below 28 dB

We shall have to see. I think the key thing to remember about the suit is that it can fulfill almost any combat focused role with the right weapon load out. The Minnie suit in particular might just make swarm launcher based AV viable once more now that we've got a fairly solid confirmation that the bonus works on them. Two light weapons have always allowed you to have an unprecedented ability to dictate the terms of the engagement or, on the flip side, to have the right gun for that moment when you're caught flat-footed. My current load out of CR/RR/uplinks on a standard suit just works so damn well. Lots of other good fits out there,though. It is, at the very least, a fun suit to create. Dedicated Commando. One, it encourages me to stay within groups instead of lone wolfing everything. Two, with two light weapons I am able to clear enemies off of wounded friendlies so I can revive them in a safe situation. Its like the plasma cannon, it does not perform its role better than other weapons. If no respec is given I might go: Caldari Commando with RR and plasma cannon. - Plasma cannon jack of all trades (AV, room clearing, killing infantry) master of none. Only gotta spec into the commando suit in this case! If respec is given I might go: Minmatar Commando with CR, Swarms and possibly MD. :-) Still feels kind of gimped being in a heavy suit with only 700 EHP (no mods) when movement speed is so slow. But yeah... who knows what will happen to TTK at this stage...

The match was a little lopsidedGÇª as I only had one other team member (who I only saw once, not that they were doing nothing we both hit over 800wp) But what was interesting was the sight of the Sentinel being Guardian Repped by a Commando. would have been interesting to see how effective it was, but I was running alpha damage so it was not something i could really analyze for effectiveness. It was kind of a cool sight, and I can see some potential there. If the Sentinel at the end of the leash goes down, you still have a solid fighting force in the Commando. Also the ability to switch between reaping and death dealing at a situational level is pretty flexible. KRRROOOOOOM
