I've been wanting to do this for awhile now, but always figured there were not many Commandos to warrant it. However, recently I've been seeing more people take interest in Commando and even hear many people planning on skilling into Commandos when the new bonuses hit, so I figure now is a great time for this so we can register as many as possible before 1.8 hits so we can recognize them as the original Commandos.

Only register yourself if you actively run Commando. Part time Commandos need not apply. By actively running Commando, I mean you play it on a regular basis and wish to continue doing so. Of course, it is understandable that you would also run other suits as Commandos are ironically more expensive and have it really bad with stats. So, without further adieu, the registry.

(my though would be replace the plate) Yes I thought of this but the problem is profile dampeners are CPU intensive and even with a standard profile dampener I'd have to sacrifice my laser weaponry and would only be able to avoid standard scanners (that's with Profile Dampening 5) and advanced scanners when cloaked. And even when I run a complex profile dampener it's the same thing, I can avoid standard scanners normally and only advanced scanner when cloaked. I suppose I could swap the CRD-9 for a standard Scrambler Rifle and get the basic profile dampeners to avoid standard scans and advance scans when cloaked, but the this is not a designed competitive fit (if it was it would have to avoid proto scanners anyways), so I'm fine with sticking with my preferred weapon set up and only being visually invisible but still easily picked up on scans. HOWEVER, if I wanted to make it a competitive fit I'd use the Commando ak.0 and avoid advanced scans normally and proto scans when cloaked, http://www.protofits.com/fittings/shared/341/1303 Only 89,940 ISK when you account the fix to commando dropsuit prices. I run it from time to time. It is just a hard choice when the SCR and the laser rifle both overheat near instantly on the thing.
