I stand corrected, and thoroughly abashed. My apologies sir, I did not mean to impugn your character nor deny you your right to vilify and malign your peers. I most humbly beg your pardon and that of these other "scrubs".

I remember back when Commandos were considered a myth. Whenever I ran into a fellow Commando in those days, it was like an unspoken agreement if we met on opposite sides. We'd just turn away and pretend we didn't see each other nor would we open fire on one another. After all, I'm one of the oldest Commando supporters and all of you birthed in 1.7 were as predicted. I defended them since their introduction and the A-I remains as my favorite suit to run.

In 1.8, you will see me in the G-I, for I have waited so long. I actually had not seen that this thread even existed, so that's my reason for not appearing in here. I welcome my brothers and sisters in 1.8, for we came from the brink of extinction to where we are now.

I disagree. As someone that used to play from downtime to downtime, that's false. At the max, I've ran into mayhap five other Commandos in 1.2-1.5 in all the collective gamemodes. I don't remember much of 1.6. 1.7 was when the Commandos started to gain popularity.

Dude, this isn't someting subjective, It's a fact. There's no room for disagreeing. I know I personally got the commando suit day one on July 2nd, 2013 and know many others here got it during 1.2 as well. I'm not saying most the people on the list, I'm saying most the people who are frequently in the discussions in this thread.

And for the sake of argument, saying that you haven't run into other commandos during that time frame provides no definitive evidence, or are you suggesting that you have played with and recalled every single person who has turned on Dust 514 from Uprising 1.2-1.5?

Commandos were so rare back then that it was considered a sign of respect to remember the name of a fellow Commando, just as it was once customary to remember a Nova Knifing Scout that you dueled with your own Nova Knives, though I'm partially sure you don't know that sentiment from those times. (Personally, I always gathered around to watch them. I was pretty terrible at Scout vs Scout dueling around that time.)

I'm not saying anyone in this registry is not a Commando, nor runs Commando, but I am saying none of you were the Commandos that had extremely low survivability (spelling?). I can search each and every person in this registry to see if they have ran a Commando in, say, FW. I could also just ask the older people that ran Commandos (if I can even get a hold of them these days, since, you know, they left this terrible game behind.) You appear once, Aero Yassavi, in an AUR prototype Commando from earlier this month. The only two records of me dates back to when FW started the whole "killmail" thing and even then I was running the same suit I have since 1.2. A-I. The weapons may change, but every time anyone has ever seen me, I was in the A-I. I'm not saying you're any lesser of a Commando than anyone else in this thread, but it makes it rather difficult to talk to people like you when you're one of those "you're wrong because I'm right!" people. Moreover, your pretentious approach towards this is a bit aggravating.

Moreover, you can literally search in these forums. Yes, I know you are a fellow supporter, Aero, and that's grand and all, but you shouldn't assume what someone does or does not know. You are not one of the Commandos of 1.2-1.5 that I remember. That's all I'm saying. I don't know anyone in this thread for being one of the older Commandos.

I don't remember ever seeing you, that must mean you weren't a commando in 1.2 I suppose by that logic.

Just to clarify, Kasote, all I'm saying is if you are suggesting that the people who have been participating actively in this commano registry were not commandos during 1.2-1.5 then you are indeed wrong because I do know they were. That is what I have a problem with, trying to act like you're somehow superior because you don't personally remember seeing any of us back then.

So please, just let it go. Most the people who have been actively participating here have been using commandos since the beginning, and that is not something you can disagree with because it is true. That is all I'm trying to say.

In retrospect, consider this: We've never met. It's a high possibility. The only way back then that anyone would run into someone was by sheer chance. Though, it's funny that through five builds, not once have I ran into someone named "Aero Yassavi" wearing a special suit. I was shot by an Aero before, but he was using a Logistic suit, so I'll give you the absolute benefit of the doubt that you run Commando since day one and we have never met.

Once again, to clarify for a questionable amount of times, I am not discrediting anyone in this thread for wearing the Commando suit, nor do I doubt that it is possible that they could of ran it back then. Once again, for the uptenth time, I will say that no one in this thread uses the name of someone that I remembered back in those builds.
