926. Is forge anti vehicle or infantry? - in General Discussions [original thread]
The oft used phrase, "Men and Materiel" implies that infantry units are not materiel. It's primarily AV, but a bazooka will kill infantry too. It's just not as easy or cost effective.

I wonder if this is why I didn't get intel kill assists for scanning right before an OB and my squad leader complained that he got only two kills. What does the screen show when you get an OB kill but no points for it?

930. 1.7 Supply Depots = Remote and Proximity Explosive Spam? - in General Discussions [original thread]
Vehicle changes will occur AFTER 1.7. That's not a promise for 1.8 mind you merely a declaration it won't happen before then. They will be in cool-down mode so will most likely retreat to their redline rather than seek a SD in the battle zone.

932. Tankers will rise once again - in General Discussions [original thread]
All vehicles will have fragile cool-down periods and limited ammo, so there will be no long duration domination. You will have short burst mode domination time, but that will have to be managed carefully. If CCP gets it right both sides will be ...

All AV and vehicle stats need to be balanced to make everything a viable role. We've always had a problem with the DS/HAV/FG triangle. If a FG was powerful enough to kill existing tanks it would 1-2HK a DS. If you balanced the FG against the DS,...
