Taking away the dampening doesn't fix the problem. It will only force Minmatar scouts to go Gallente so they can dampen their profile enough. It is the tanking that is the problem that needs fixing, not the dampening of the cloak.

I agree. I didn't notice an issue until cloaking became a thing. It seems I am spotted much easier than I can spot a cloaked scout, and I do wonder whether it has to do with being color blind.
