Simply put, I'd rather variants of weapons other than Assault.
Why not a Burst Mass Driver?
Or a Tactical Plasma Cannon?
Or a Breach Swarm Launcher?
Or a currently as of yet unused term like, I dunno, Strategic something or other?
I am part shovel, part man, full scout, and a little bit special.

Unless they start making Assault REs. I would be down for those.
They would be OP as hell though.

I'd rather they just get rid of the all these "versions" of weapons, turn them into weapon mods, and give us a weapon fitting screen. |

That would be the ideal option, but I've a feeling that's a long way off.
