Tanks should be slow. Balance > Realism. Although if you want to go the realism route, tanks can't shoot near as fast as they do in game. So should we nerf railguns to a 15 sec charge up time?

Tanks need to be nigh indestructible when hardeners are up. They need to be killable when hardeners are down. Slow them down by 25% if not more. Escape should not be easy. One hardener per vehicle. Force that window of opportunity to close.

Tanks should be powerful. They should not be cheap. They should be AV oriented. LAVs should fear them. Infantry, not so much. A tank's AI should come from small blasters.
