Check out this Rooster Teeth pod cast video. The guy sits down with Hilmar at a DICE conference and they talk about the DUST/EVE link with the OBs from one game to another.
I encourage you to comment and reach out to these guys and let them know about this game.
Note, they start talking about this about a minute or two in.

Love their show "the patch", got a little excited when they mentioned dust, though they seem to think dust is still in development rather than fully released. Would be cool if they did a "lets play".

Maybe I can finally get to 5 recruits at 100k WP for my laser rifle BPO. 
Like how they sounded excited about the idea, of course at the same time instantly changing the subject to Evolved.

I knew a lot of the haters would reply, you always do  .
It was just interesting to listen to the one guy say how "ambitious" it was to link EVE and DUST and have interconnection with the OBs and two different games...and CCP has already done this and it is working. Sure the game is not perfect but it makes you appreciate what CCP has done a little bit more, I least I thought it did.
I also found it interesting (sad) that a show about a couple of guys who know a lot about videogames and FPSs hardly know about DUST. No sure if this is worrisome or if I should be optimistic that there are still a lot of potential new players out there waiting to learn about DUST.
A lot of you hate pretty hard but the game has constantly gotten better, maybe at a slower pace than most would like but it is going in a good direction and that is something to be both proud of and happy about.

Nice eye Titus,
This company plays video games practically for a living. A few of their employees play Eve or are at least well educated about the game. I was sad to see they push through Dust like it didn't exist and show video of a different game almost in the same sentence. Could CCP marketing remedy this from repeating? I know Roosterteeth are mainly XBOX guys but they literally have articles or videos on every single game that gets released. I am not versed in the gaming world and perhaps companies send them freebies for showing/pushing games. |
