Hell no. It's bad enough they don't get knocked around by the flaylock anymore. If I'm trying to snipe and some butt-hurt peon comes trying to harass me in his assault dropship, I need to be able to shake up his aim while kindly encouraging him to get back on the ground with the rest of the cannon fodder. |

As if dropships need anymore help, swarms amd forges have already been nerfed and the assault dropships need the blast radius of their rocketsto be decreased to more AV and less AP, plus dropships are allowed to have armor and shield hardners for ****'s sake

The forge gun I think is acceptable but the rail gun kick seems like a little much since it can one shot a dropship.

Agreed Newton's second and third law pretty much explains why you are getting knocked around in the basic physics point of view (damn it college and 1 year left to go).
And if you really want to complicate this, look up impulse-momentum theorem.
But if we neglect the real approach in this game then here's why: your drop ship can out run swarms, anti-vehicle grenades will not touch you unless you are at low altitude, and at extreme high altitudes NOTHING TOUCHES YOU meaning only another drop ship can kill you.

Dropships are about as balanced as vehicles get, plus I'm pretty sure a proto swarm launcher/forge gun can down a viper in a single magazine.

At the very least, cut their being knocked around in half while hardeners are up. Lore reason can be that the hardeners absorb some of the momentum.
