The long english title is "A boring world where the concept of dirty jokes does not exist"

It's about a world where they banned sexually explicit things, so a girl runs around with panties on her face trying to expose the rest of society to indecency.

Seriously laughing my ass off the entire first episode.

Well the shovel makes a lot more sense now.

Pretty sure I haven't had that sort of reaction since the end of Your Lie In April. My jaw is literally on the floor right now.

It's only the first episode and I feel like I need to watch this over again.

Recommendations: Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica
Both are initially seemingly relaxing and fluffy series about cute girls doing cute things. Then they suddenly make a full 180 and take a much darker tone instead...

Madoka was some uh.. very interesting anime about little girls... (I rated 9/10)

Shimoneta is one of the top 5 animes for me this season if we dont count arslan senki and shoukugeki from last season.

Wait what? I thought that it was a male MC/protagonist? Isn't female is just main char and not protagonist? Also, if you enjoyed shimoneta then i deeply recommend seitokai yakuindomo

Hagure Yuusha no Estetica (Aesthetica of a Rogue Hero)

Awesome show. A power fantasy harem anime that skips past all of the "hero grows into his power" by starting with the hero as, essentially, a bad-ass right from the start. So instead of wasting time watching as the hero wrestles with his power, the viewer is treated to a protagonist that is more than happy being a playful jerk while keeping his noble core intact; Akatsuki is the guy we all wish we could be--brave, strong, charming and willing to take on whatever challenges come his way, and doing so with a seemingly care-free approach to it all that hides his commitment to those he cares about.

I use the term "harem" as a generalization for the fact that the hero quickly finds himself surrounded by women; however, in terms of potential love interests the show focuses on Miu (the one Akatsuki has sworn to protect and the only one that he actually displays any real romantic interest in) while also Haruka takes on the role of the tsundere character, who develops feelings for Akatsuki despite her initial animosity towards him. Listy may as well be a romantic interest for Akatsuki, though their past isn't really touched upon in the show (but is strongly hinted at.)

That actually ties into my one major complaint about the show: it isn't finished. Though the initial storyline is completed over the course of 12 episodes, it's quite obvious that it is only a part of a much larger story being told and there's no satisfactory conclusion to be drawn from this one season. Seeing as to how this was made in 2012, I don't have high hopes for more seasons. Bummer.

A minor quibble of mine has to deal with the visuals--something just seems "off" about the female characters. Their bodies are obviously quite well animated (and believe me, you'll see A LOT of their bodies) but the actual faces...ugh. I'm not sure what it is, exactly, but the female character's faces look slightly off, as though they're too round or something. That aside, the rest of the visuals are top-notch, including the battle scenes.

I finished KanColle, and omg. I need that second season. Honestly though, it's got potential to become very dark, and the show is sorta just a power fantasy. I mean, it's clear that the show is just taking WW2 battles, and saying whoops, looks like the Japanese won this time. It could be a turn off. However, the sheer fun that I had watching it was so great poi! Ooichi's drop kick has probably been one of the awesomest, and most insane things I've ever seen.

How fast do you watch animes? Back in my prime I managed to watch and finish 3-4 12 episode animes a week and i even finished hidan no aria over night (started in the evening, finished it in the morning and yes I did sleep). Nowadays I finish 1 12 episode every week and my current watched anime list is exceeding 100. My to watch anime list is several times larger than my have watched list and because of it I have a hard time starting new animes because there are always too many choices but you seem like an adept anime watcher yourself and you put down weekly anime reviews so thank you for that.

I just wanted to know some stuff about your anime status and speed but it turned into a paragraph... lol I have a bad habit of going on and on don't I

i watch literally like 30+ episodes a day, lol

My usual free day goes like:

>wake up
>use all LP in SIF
>check social media
>check forums
>check messages
>check youtube
>back to SIF cause I just wasted 2 hours of my life before I even got up and that's enough for an expert song
>ROLL OUT OF BED
>eat something
>while checking social media again
>and the forums
>figure out if I wanted to do anything today that I forgot about
a. do said thing
b. put off said thing for later
c. proceed to next step if I forgot about said thing
>turn on computer, PS3, TV, stereo system

>check social media again
>watch anime
>SIF
--
^ repeat for the rest of the day

>eat something while I watch anime
>get bored and play Dust until downtime
>check everything one last time
>check everything two last times
>check everything three last times
>make sure I have 0 LP left in SIF
>sleep

In other news, I have a date with a 3D girl on Saturday.
Help, I don't know how this happened.

There's definitely some good content coming our way - but i fear Pinky will ruin it.

The way I see it, they're all a bunch of kids. They see her delusion similar to a kid that believes in Santa, and instead of thinking logically about it, they would rather just see her happy.

Which is why the character Megu-nee (I like sakura-sensei better :P) is so important. If she wasn't there for Yuki then maybe the others would step in and take that place...but they understand that everyone has their own way of coping, which is why they thank Megu-nee every time she helps out. If something ever happened to sakura-sensei, Yuki's state would probably get worse.

The whole 'ignorance is bliss' thing.

Then again I really want this show to focus on cute girls doing cute things. Maybe it's just me but I really like the contrast of going from "nummy bars" to "shovel time" to "wow she really wanted senpai to notice her huh". There's just so much emotion jam packed into a single episode that makes you instantly connected to the characters involved.
