Just signed up for the free week trial of Hulu plus and watched King of Thorn last night. Enjoyable, even if it does fall apart by the end (similar to how Final Fantasy games really jump the rails when trying to explain everything.)
Next up is Papillon Rose...a series I recall as one of my first introductions to hentai many years ago. Quite tame by today's standards but I'm hoping to catch a bit more of the parody that I missed the first time around.
Mike Patton is the greatest singer in music. Proof:

High School DxD. Wow...talk about some fan service! Shame I have to listen to the dubbed version if I want to enjoy any of the good/ridiculous stuff.
Also caught the first episode of To Love-Ru. Hoping it continues to be one of those super-cheesy harem comedies that's more humorous than anything.

I trust your opinion of anime, good sir, so let me know if that is one I should watch or just bypass. Hard to judge that one, it comes off really weird, even though it's innocent.
It's basically a drama/slice of life, where a young man in college sister dies on him. She had her own family, and he had deep, fond memories of her. So he takes up her kids himself, but being a struggling college student is rough.
The show puts more focus on the girls adaptation and cute/appeal as well as pedo/shojou jokes. It'll appeal to Slice of Life lovers and pedos lol
Personally, I'm a huge slice of life lover, and enjoyed watching the girls put on a strong face as there life crumbles around them. Eventually, no amount of good spirit can surpass the limitation of the human body and society standards.

Here's my list (not in any order, just going by the order in my queue)
Netflix:
Death Note (Two of the most intelligent people become friends, but are actually trying to kill each other)
Attack on Titan (First anime I've seen in a while that kills off main characters and leaves you in suspense. Hits you hard emotionally)
Knights of Sidonia (Attack on Titan...in space)
Eden of the East (Great one to watch with the girlfriend)
Sekirei (Who needs plot when you have boobs)
Welcome to the NHK (Makes you appreciate that you're not that much of a shut-in...hopefully)
Rosario + Vampire (I hate anything to do with vampires, but again, boobs. This one actually has a story though...kinda.)
Heaven's Lost Property (Angels, watermelons, flying panties...just trust me, it's good)
Chobits (Guy finds cute robot, gets into a mess of trouble. Great just as long as you can get past the first episode)
Chrome Shelled Regios (Starts out actiony, turns into drama, ending wasn't that great...but I still liked it a lot)
Crunchyroll:
Sword Art Online/ SAO II (Guy gets stuck in an MMO, if he dies he'll die in real life. Beat all 100 levels and they get set free)
Engaged to the Unidentified (This is a silly, silly anime. Sometimes it just doesn't make sense, but that's why it's good)
Sakura Trick (Girls kissing girls. I just liked it because the relationships felt real instead of goofy. Will make you smile)
Soni-Ani: Super Sonico (One of the few anime to give the female characters proper proportions. Sonico is my favorite ^^)
My Mental Choices are Completely Interfering... (Choose: "Let me touch your boobs" or "Hey, touch my boobs"...yup)
The Irregular at Magic High School (A cool anime about technology)
No Game No Life (An Ecchi with mind-game puzzles that make you think. Hilarious and cute at the same time)
Vividred Operation (Girls gain superpowers to fight huge mechs, and they can combine powers with each other, pretty cool)
Black Bullet (less action that I thought, but it is a deep story that really connects you emotionally with the characters)
The Comic Artist and His Assistants (Should the panty shot be full, partial, or covered left to the imagination?)
Mekakucity Actors (Very trippy, but gets really good towards the end. Lots of backstory through the whole thing)
Nisekoi (A guy has a lock, but which girl has the key? He's forced to "date" a girl he despises and can't keep things together)
Arpeggio of Blue Steel (I never thought that naval ship battles could be this cool...then again they all have hot female avatars...)
Gurren Lagann (Starts in small tunnels underground, but at the end they're fighting with giant robots in space. wtf)
Henneko (A cat god grants wishes, crazy **** happens)
Oreshura (The one guy in school who avoids love at all costs gets forces into a relationship by the hottest girl there. Now what?)
[*] One Week Friends (About a girl loses her memory every week, and the guy who just wants to be her friend)

Just started watching Toradora. The main character reminds me of me so much, especially the whole glare/RBF (Resting ***** Face) thing. I'm not that intimidating, but people often avoid me just because I don't seem like a friendly person (and yes, I would totally clean someone else's house if it was that messy lol)
50 episodes...I guess it'll keep me busy for a while XD

Aldnoah Zero 6 continues to more or less disappoint. Random dude who keeps having PTSD everytime he gets into a cockpit continues to get PTSD and be useless when he's needed most, Inoha still seemingly the only useful pilot the earth forces have available to them, and the enemy designs are still super underwhelming after the original threat.
At least we have Slain.
Sigh sigh.
PoP SoTa wrote:My recommendation this season: http://www.crunchyroll.com/monthly-girls-nozaki-kun
This is a show that I've continually kept hearing about around other anime sites but it's only until now that I buckled down and checked out the first episode. I came away pleasantly surprised too! I think this is probably my first shoujo that I've seen but the comedy and general layout of the first episode were totally on point for me. I tend to stray away from slice of life type shows but this is one I'm going to make sure to keep on top of.
Anyone see Barakamon? I often hear that coupled with Nozaki-kun as one of the must sees of the season.
