I'm glad I stopped Eva after TV series - hear awful things constantly about the movies. But one day, I'll take that plunge.
For now - Dat Log Horizon <3 LH is handling issues I thought I'd see a lot more of in Sword Art Online, cept you could die there. LH having that safety net is interesting, but it takes away any real sense of 'danger' Still, good show.

I watched the first ep of LH and stopped. It seemed really cheesy especially since I was really into SAO. Is it that good? I guess I'll try it out more

1.0 and 2.0 were really good. the characters had depth and dimension unlike the tv serise, the story was always solid(until the end), the movies visuals were far better than the shows. and then BAM 3.0 Gainax rams it's head so far up it's own ass that it creates a monstrosity whose hideousness rivals 3.0 itself and destroys the beauty of 1.0 and 2.0 as well.

It's good. I am now up to date, and I have to wait a whole dang week for the next episode.
It's more realistic (in a sense), and I love the fact that the MC isn't OP as hell.
In fact, he is the opposite. He chose a terrible class and subclass FOR COMBAT. However, it acts as an amazing force multiplier in a battle, and really drives home the fact that he is a strategist at heart. You won't see him on the front lines. He is always at the back, commanding the team and giving support when necessary. He is also kinda heartless when it comes to strategy, which I like (especially since he isn't aware of the fact that he is literally a "Devil with glasses".)
ALSO:
Woah. I'm watching A Certain Magical Index right now, and It is A LOT better than railgun. I know what I will be watching in between Log Horizon.

Index is, indeed, the better series. It's actually consider the main series, Railgun being the spinoff. Both great, though.
I'm a sucker for Slice of Lifes mixed in with other genre shows, though.

I've really been loving watamote and kill la kill lately.
The only problem is every time I try to get one of my friends to watch kill la kill they immediately pass it off as hentai. It doesn't help that I'm already that "one weird anime friend."
I mean, seriously? hentai? If you want hentai I'll show you hentai. --_-- *shakes fist*
ok, I get that there's tons of guy fan service, but there's some for the girls too (oh boy!!!), just give it a chance!
also watamote is painfully good. I feel so sorry for Tomoko but I can't stop watching. |

Kill la Kill won't appeal to many - Gurren Lagann had the same art style and atmosphere, but few can compare.

well, watamote is like my middle school years so I get where she is coming from. Thank god for the friends I made in High School or I might have ended up like her. T.T

I really liked Watamote, sometimes it was repetitive but in the end was a decent anime and a little bit underrated, the manga is great tho so give it a chance.

How did you dared to drop Samurai Flamenco?! well, I respect your choices and To Love Ru is great so I'm not too mad at you, I'm still enjoying the animes of this season and some of them are going to end pretty soon (like 3 episodes remaning) yet I will remember this season as one of the greatest, can't wait to see how Kill la Kill or Samurai Flamenco are going to end, I know that KLK is going to get a second season tho.

If you're up for some serious psychological breakdowns, you should take a look at H20 -Footprints in the Sand-, or Aku no Hana. That stuff is GREAT for making you cringe and beg, and plead, "DON'T DO IT!!!"
Or if you're up for horror, the creators of Higurashi have made Umineko no Koro ni. <--- Most likely got that wrong, but it definitely starts with Umineko. Hell, they even made the game Corpse Party for PSP, and had some other team make the offshoot anime episodes of it.

I personally couldn't stand the aku no Hana anime :/
As such I'm reading the manga instead... It's awesome! Crazy **** lol. I started on h20 but couldn't finish it :(
