I'm leaning to my first guess cuz it kind of gives hints of that.
"Secret to this world" It's never mention if it's the real world, just 'a' world, or 'this' world.
If you think about past events - Riki himself characteristics is that of a minor character - everyone around him has the strong personality and abilities. Riki's only redeemable feature is his optimism and kindness.
Think back to the black hair girl disappearing - there must be some clues in there. She's an uninvolved character to his past who had influence in his life, so much so she could stop time and reverse it. But this may be due to riki's desire to save her somehow, but the flaw to this idea is he didn't know she needed saving - so it leads to the conclusion she did it herself.
Think about other girls who vanished - when Riki put his full attention on Rin they vanished, with a smile to Kyuosuke. They knew something and agreed with it.
Now the two guys who always fought - one seems completely aware of everything - while the other struggles with what he does know compared to how he feels - leading you to believe he's aware too but isn't on boat with the others.
So that leads us back to Rin and her memory wipe - She reverts back to the way she was as a child - but Riki didn't know Rin to be this bad, leading you to believe it's not just Riki's dream world, as he would not want her to be shy, but more open with him and those he cares for.
There's just - so much going on here, and pieces of the puzzle are still missing. But one thing is clear: Kyousuke is the center piece.

That's an incredibly old show. The only reason I haven't seen it is because the art style is painful in comparison to modern anime.

Persona 5 announced as coming next year. Let's hope it goes smooth - Atlus recently went through a lopp thanks to parent company scandal.
Also Golden Times is moving a bit too quick for me. :(
And Little Busters confuses me still. But at least as not much so. Onwards to next Saturday!

It's probably the show with the best/most cute girls in it. The VA to the library girl was fantastic.
I just finished up Mashorioro Symphony - another show with loads of cute girls. This ones animation quality is higher though, but no one can fault The World Only God Knows on animation quality.

I'm glad I stopped Eva after TV series - hear awful things constantly about the movies. But one day, I'll take that plunge.
For now - Dat Log Horizon <3 LH is handling issues I thought I'd see a lot more of in Sword Art Online, cept you could die there. LH having that safety net is interesting, but it takes away any real sense of 'danger' Still, good show.

Index is, indeed, the better series. It's actually consider the main series, Railgun being the spinoff. Both great, though.
I'm a sucker for Slice of Lifes mixed in with other genre shows, though.

ok, I get that there's tons of guy fan service, but there's some for the girls too (oh boy!!!), just give it a chance!
also watamote is painfully good. I feel so sorry for Tomoko but I can't stop watching.
Kill la Kill won't appeal to many - Gurren Lagann had the same art style and atmosphere, but few can compare.
And watamote was hard to watch for me. Depressing as hell and it never does anything but get worse - she's not improving at all lol
