let me ask you this, what have you done for this "community"? do you play this game? or do you test it? why are you so bent out of shape for losing one pub match? do you not understand that WE control these pubs so we do what we want. i have a 7-9 W/L ratio and our corp as a whole has around a 4 or 5 W/L ratio (probably more than yours anyway). winning is something we do naturally and we win even if its 4v16. next time dont take pubs too seriously scrub

That's bull. No one forced anyone. I played as much as i wanted to and that was actually less than usual. It still was enough for me to earn more than the 27k that i was granted daily before but when i was done playing i went to do other stuff. I could've easily left my character leech on MCCs for a lot more time but i didn't for a very simple reason that people are trying to silence:

This is not just dishonest because of the SP leeching, it's also that in doing so you're taking up a spot on a team while doing nothing for said team and increasing the chance of this team's battle become a struggle against a full sided team. It matters even more when you know this AFK player could be decisive. Everyone that has played long enough will know that one single player can win you or lose you a game. When a player is MIA, it completely betrays your team. I've seen people going 3-10 be important in a match to secure a win, i may even value the effort a complete noob makes even if he failed to kill a single person but a person that is willingly standing around doing nothing is the most serious act of betrayal you could do to your team.

Funnily, this is why the other case i witnessed was also a player from a well known corp playing BY HIMSELF. These players are not usually seen playing without a squad. When you see these corps in battle, it's normal that you see them grouped and that's fine with me. But when they want to leech they go solo and jeopardize other people's games? Why is that? Why wasn't Kain or the other player i saw with their corp as usual? It's evident, because that would be something that you wouldn't be willing to put your own corp mates through. You wouldn't abandon them and let them go and fight on their own while you stand back.

So these players found a way to not feel bad for this. If they're alone, they're ******* with other people's game, and who cares about others, right?! As long as they don't do it to you, it's fine. What this shows is that this act was dishonest. If you're unwiling to do that with those you feel you're responsible to, then you shouldn't do it with others too.

i was being forced because i was playing for a solid 7-8 hours without a break and i wanted to stop playing around the 2-3 hour mark. i was able to get 200k + sp but i had to grind like a ***** to get it. some of you dont understand because your sp capped out at random amounts like 27k and 50k while we hit 220k and still wasnt capped

Why worry aboit winning if there is no reward, incentive, or reward for helping your team win. If ccp won't change it, its our job ad beta testers to abuse it. Especially with last night. I allready play enough to hit the cap in a week, but a day ? Yikes , nope time to abuse giant flaws in game design.

The losing team should get 0 sp, you want to see people fighting the death with passion? That'll do it.

Why play at all if you don't want to win the matches. Here is an idea, watch a number tick up over time, pretend it is your 'sp' and quit playing Dust. It is beyond clear your only enjoyment from the game is increasing numbers. If you don't care about winning matches just because it doesn't give you more numbers then you really don't understand the point of the game.

No one said you had to get 280k SP yesterday. No one said you had to play 7-8 hours. No one said you needed to play like a greedy SP ***** just to milk every last ounce of it.

Thanks for the response Kain, hopefully the Imperfects still don't want to break all my bones!

That said I may have made the mistake of assuming all Imperfects do better than I do on the battlefield, can't really blame me when it tends to be the case almost all the time Xp. I figured a 20 kill surplus would have been pretty standard although from other posts from the imperfects perhaps I was being a bit unfair in my expectations.

I did find the Concord post rather humorous, and was afraid I may have started something a bit out of my depth when it turned into that, but it seems it was just satire so we are all good.

That said I'm glad to hear that you don't approve of the passive SP farming any more than I do.

Sorry, but when you try to make a point you should probably do so without sounding like an idiot. And making your opinions sound like facts makes you sound even more so. If that doesn't make that a troll post then I don't know what does.
