1. It's not a glitch. It's working as intended. They want you to get SP for your time in battle, that's exactly what is happening.

2. Maybe the people who go 0/12 with 0 WP need to learn that they're part of a team as well and begin contributing. They're more likely to lose you a battle than someone idling in the MCC.

afk farming is the best. You get all the benefits (SP) without the bad (dust)

Heck, I was going to update my reserved post, but you guys go way too fast. AFK SP is a problem. I was actually curious to see what the AFK reward was and I made almost 9k SP and over 100k ISK during this match.

I actually appreciate and want to thank Deadeyes for the attention he's brought to this issue. He's done more than any feedback thread I could post about the issue ever could.

That said don't blame a clone depletion loss on someone who goes 0/0 when your bottom players had a combined death total of 54 and only had 9 kills.

You lost the match by 21 clones.

I have yet to just sit in a MCC to gain SP per second to reach the cap, as tempting as it may be. I play all my matches, only time I leave is when I know my team will get steamrolled and I am guaranteed to lose out suits, KDR and/or points by playing an unwinable match.

Wow, if anyone thinks I'm a "Saint" they are sorely mistaken. I've said this before: there are no good guys in New Eden.

I do my thing for the community because I want this game to succeed. I've put too much time and money into this game for it to fail, so anything I can do to help it succeed (including having a glaring light shined on a bad mechanic that rewards people not fighting) I will take those steps.

I was really thinking this thread would be dead by now after the discussion between me and Deadeyes came to a conclusion.

Props to SoLJae and company for keeping it alive.

Its called testing, you know what it is we're all here to do. Especially the closed beta tester that have been testing this thing since it was a patchwork game that was basically in its alpha stage. Kudos to you guys because when i came in november it felt good to me i had no clue how much the came had been tested and tweaked.

It is the responsibility of every TESTER in this game to find EXPLOITS/BUGS/GLITCHES and REPORT THEM. so instead of lulz at us we lulz at you cause you're just a parasitic leach that "plays" the game while the we try to "test" and IMPROVE IT.

Also can we be honest. You shouldn't gain sp in the redzone end of story. Why would you level up in am area marked as out of the combat zone for the other team ?

What I don't understand is the idea that winning or losing in pub matches actually matters somehow. The reward for winning or losing is the same. Snatching victory from the jaws of defeat is fun, but until there is something tangible to be won or loss it is pretty much the definition of meaningless. The only things you can get out of it are epeen stroking and, theoretically, practicing organized tactics.

Of course without fielding a full team of your own guys it isn't a great way to train for corp matches where everyone is actually contributing.

To boil it all down, what do I *lose* when my team loses? Nothing but pride, assuming I actually gave a **** about winning.
