you people dont understand anything, even ii was forced to try to leech sp. yesterday it felt like i was being forced to play because of trying to get sp b4 reset, i wanted to get off sooo bad but i couldn't. also Kain does so much while he plays, i dont even see how he can manage RL stuff at the same time when playing Dust the guy is awesome. Who cares about not trying to win a pub match. We have to carry the team ourselves anyway maybe he wanted to see how you guys did lol
leave it up to randoms to try to find any flaw in the imperfects |

Travi Zyg wrote:imho, WHO CARES. im sorry but im sure this thread is something much more detrimental to the Dust community than what one well known great player MAY or MAY NOT have done in a match. Im sure him not being there during the match wasnt the one single reason the pub was lost for your team. Im sure there were another 14 other blueberries there that could have been equally to blame for not performing well, i could be wrong but whatever. Win or lose a pub or a corp match, as long as YOU are playing , then your still benefitting. you got your SP and ISK and got to practice against a good team, so whats the deal?
exactly, 15-16 kain wasnt the reason yall may have lost, maybe your team sucked. (im thinking since kain is in imperfects you thought he would just carry your team to victory) |

leave it up to randoms to try to find any flaw in the imperfects Not sure when it became socially acceptable to abandon your squad mates in a match to work on Dust related projects. It seems like the people who do this a lot feel like it's perfectly fine behavior. If you treat pub matches like trash and don't show up for any reason its pretty disrespectful to those 15 players. I get it though a lot of people have no respect for anyone in, or anything to do with a pub match.
the reason we treat pubs as trash is because its a PUB nothing serious kid, he have been the cause of our wining millions of times. look at our stats, just because you didnt get help from one guy you look up to dont mean you can blame a lost on him. |

I like how much disdain and condescension this thread is exposing from the Imperfects for the public match players. There is a difference between not playing 100% and taking it as serious as a corp match, and not even showing up. It's sad when a 1-10 newberry is better to see on your team than an imperfect because they have developed so much apathy for the game and the community they probably won't even play if it's not their official sanctioned corp battle.
let me ask you this, what have you done for this "community"? do you play this game? or do you test it? why are you so bent out of shape for losing one pub match? do you not understand that WE control these pubs so we do what we want. i have a 7-9 W/L ratio and our corp as a whole has around a 4 or 5 W/L ratio (probably more than yours anyway). winning is something we do naturally and we win even if its 4v16. next time dont take pubs too seriously scrub |

I played as much as i wanted to and that was actually less than usual. It still was enough for me to earn more than the 27k that i was granted daily before but when i was done playing i went to do other stuff. I could've easily left my character leech on MCCs for a lot more time but i didn't for a very simple reason that people are trying to silence: This is not just dishonest because of the SP leeching, it's also that in doing so you're taking up a spot on a team while doing nothing for said team and increasing the chance of this team's battle become a struggle against a full sided team. It matters even more when you know this AFK player could be decisive. Everyone that has played long enough will know that one single player can win you or lose you a game. When a player is MIA, it completely betrays your team. I've seen people going 3-10 be important in a match to secure a win, i may even value the effort a complete noob makes even if he failed to kill a single person but a person that is willingly standing around doing nothing is the most serious act of betrayal you could do to your team. Funnily, this is why the other case i witnessed was also a player from a well known corp playing BY HIMSELF. These players are not usually seen playing without a squad. When you see these corps in battle, it's normal that you see them grouped and that's fine with me. But when they want to leech they go solo and jeopardize other people's games? Why is that? Why wasn't Kain or the other player i saw with their corp as usual? It's evident, because that would be something that you wouldn't be willing to put your own corp mates through. You wouldn't abandon them and let them go and fight on their own while you stand back. So these players found a way to not feel bad for this. If they're alone, they're ******* with other people's game, and who cares about others, right?! As long as they don't do it to you, it's fine. What this shows is that this act was dishonest. If you're unwiling to do that with those you feel you're responsible to, then you shouldn't do it with others too.
i was being forced because i was playing for a solid 7-8 hours without a break and i wanted to stop playing around the 2-3 hour mark. i was able to get 200k + sp but i had to grind like a ***** to get it. some of you dont understand because your sp capped out at random amounts like 27k and 50k while we hit 220k and still wasnt capped |

lol for one thing i pushed for the grenade spam fix before open release, and a fix for spawns( hasnt been fixed tho). i dont see anyone making post about people in their matches going 0-22, 0-11, and 1-13. most of know you have seen this and sometimes you end up winning the match anyway. but just because he is well known and an imperfect he gets singled out |

no one asked for your f****** comment you no named dildo. wtf does your name even say?!! whooooo sahhhhhh ok sorry CCP im done
everyone knows (if you are a competitive player) that getting the most sp as you can will be a deciding factor in matches that actually mean something |

If ccp won't change it, its our job ad beta testers to abuse it. Especially with last night. I allready play enough to hit the cap in a week, but a day ? Yikes , nope time to abuse giant flaws in game design.
The losing team should get 0 sp, you want to see people fighting the death with passion? That'll do it. Why play at all if you don't want to win the matches. Here is an idea, watch a number tick up over time, pretend it is your 'sp' and quit playing Dust. It is beyond clear your only enjoyment from the game is increasing numbers. If you don't care about winning matches just because it doesn't give you more numbers then you really don't understand the point of the game. Son, I've been playing eve since beta, I've been killing conchord with dreads supported by cans full of cap charges that forced ccp to fix it. I've followed dust for the past 6 years. This beta is fun but winning for winnings sake gives no incentive. Here try this this, write, victory on a piece of paper , tape it to your TV at the end of each match.
lmao +1
p.s. i dont give those often |
