after actually reading more, my main argument is that this would make vehicle vs vehicle very very slow- possibly making it next to impossible for vehicles to destroy eachother if the drivers know what they're doing.

Not to mention the amount of ammo (total, not clip size) is terrible. On another note- last build, I was a scout with a mass driver- once you get it down (and when the shots don't bug), it's more effective than a scout with a shotgun.

Each to his own, I guess. Although I believe you're overestimating turret AI- they still will be smarter than a random blueberry, but not as smart as your average red dot.

Only if we take infantry shield regen away with it- then everything will equally make no sense. There's no reason a HEAVY ASSAULT vehicle manned by 3 people should be easily destroyed by 1 person with AV gear at a fraction of the cost. Not to men...
