I've had similar experiences with the repair tool. The system works but the cool down seems buggy or too severe. I feel like I'm getting rewarded for about 1/3 of my repair actions (which is still better than none!).

This is definitely something that will need to be tested and experienced in game before forming a real opinion. As stated there are a lot of variables that change in a weapon class other than damage, so I will not rule out that higher level weapon...

yeah, I think just pulling the boarder and based back further from the center of the maps is a better solution (and will hopefully happen if we get bigger maps). This will mean that camping on a mountain near your base will not give a good vantage...

yeah, I don't see a problem with the current or planned system other than there is no player market ATM. Sure 95% of salvage is stuff you won't use but once you can sell it that problem will be solved. Sell salvage, buy what you actually want.

I think a sidearm variant of the shotgun could work. Something like a sawed off shotgun. A single powerful but high spread round, long reload in between. If designed to be a balanced sidearm it would be a great addition to that weapon class.

We definitely need a minimum number of players (with balanced teams) to start. I've definitely enjoyed spawning into an empty match and capping half the flags before the other team gets out of their spawn but that just shouldn't be allowed to happen.

I agree the time limit should be extended (if not removed). My logic is this: If a team can make a comeback after the other team has dominated most of the match (which does happen) then what is to say a team couldn't win a match during "overtime"...
