Not that this happens often, but should we be allowed to send precision strikes into enemy spawn areas? This just seems like a bad mechanic that encourages beating down on a team that is already losing badly.
I just joined yet another match where my team is losing badly and being redlined. So I decided to spawn at our base behind a large building to play it safe, only a precision strike occurs immediately after spawning.
The whole point of putting the enemy base outside of your playing field and in the redzone is to prevent spawn camping, yet that is exactly what a precision strike in their spawn is. This just seems like an easy fix to improve the enjoyment of all. |

If they "turn off" WP and kill counts for kills made into or from the redzone, this will be fixed. |

If you push the team back to their base, where else are you going to call a strike? The fact that its the only place with enemies to strike will still make it the prime target; its not like striking anywhere else will raise your war points and kill count. It would still be tactically valuable to strike a team at their base, so I doubt it will stop it. I don't think strikes on a base should be possible at all. Some lore explanation can be made, like some installation in the base that messes with targeting systems of ships. |

not really. the skirmish matches still count clones, so the redlined team has no chance to attempt a breakout when the clone count jumps down to zero..

as long as snipers and tanks can camp from the redline i could be able to kill them.
CCP should just get ride of redline. If you are getting your **** kicked in that bad the match shouldjust be over. with bonus the victors |

As long as Snipers can attack me, Swarms can be launched at me and Forges can fly towards my vehicles I will not support this.
Want to put a little energy shield in front of the Spawn so nothing can shoot out and the enemy can't shoot in? Fine, but if you're forging my Tank, I'm going to drop an Orbital on your head. |
