The premise behind the new system is great.
The system itself needs some tweaks though as the anti-exploiting measures are a bit too extreme. I'm not sure if it's because of the cap on WP within a set time, but I don't think this is the case....
When I repair people, I find the majority of points I am getting are the guardian points (Someone you are repairing scores a kill) and I am barely getting any triage bonuses (repairing someone who was recently injured)
It seems like the alloted time where someone is eligible to grant repair points after being shot is far too short, and isn't refreshing properly. I had a situation where I had two heavies with me on a bridge, popping out of cover with their forge guns to take potshots, and they would take damage, and then pop back into cover to get repaired. They were constantly being shot and repaired individually for about two minutes, yet I did not gain a single triage bonus from either of them.
When repairing a Heavy that actually grants points, you get maybe two triage rewards from them before they suddenly stop granting points, despite still missing half their health.
The guardian points are great. Love those. They work totally fine from my own observations. Though I worry that if the triage bonuses start coming in properly, the time based cap might kick in during legitimate logistics play.
TL:DR biggest problem with revamp system = The anti-exploiting stuff seems to kick in too soon, doesn't award legitimate play as much as it should. Still a big step up from the 0 point hotfix though.
Edit : Thanks to noc for the reminder : Also, it seems a bit silly you can get guardian points for using a repair tool on a shield tank that has yet to take any armor damage. I was riding on (not in) Noc's tank with my repair tool and using it whenever he started shooting, and getting a fair amount of guardian points. I ended the round with like 5 kills and 700 WP, so it wasn't a -lot- of WP but it seemed a bit silly. |

I've had similar experiences with the repair tool. The system works but the cool down seems buggy or too severe. I feel like I'm getting rewarded for about 1/3 of my repair actions (which is still better than none!). |

Are you noticing you are getting all of the guardian rewards, though?
Personally those seem fine and unaffected by the wierdness that seems to plague the triage rewards. Wondering if the experiences of others mirror my own. |

Interesting, I'm actually getting more Triage awards by around 4:1. I'll keep an eye on this to see if the trend holds.
Regarding the getting Guardian points as you describe doing with the HAV, I believe that's functioning as intended and it makes sense to me. Consider the comparative names, Triage is for restoring, Guardian is for preserving. Triage is the "I'm nearly dead, save me" while Guardian is "I'm going in hot, keep the repair tool locked on me" so essentially you're being rewarded for the team play rather than specifically for the HP restored.
