I suppose the issue is still the CLIENT lag. In that case nanohives are more likely to be the cause as they have the visible shiny bubble special effect. I strongly advise everyone to remember to separate the server lag from client lag.

Only thing that makes nades spammable is their a bit too fast resupply rate from depot or hive. Making nades more expensive nanitewise per unit would almost do it, but it wouldn't fix the depot spam. Delay, of say 15-20s, would do the trick.
