Currently equipment has limits on how many of each kind can be deployed but these limits are easily circumvented by deploying different types of uplinks or nanohives. So surely the simplest solution is to make those limits apply to all types for ...

The contracts could be entirely flexible and the settings are totally at the discretion of the contractor and if you don't want to put a set time, you can just leave it open as long as you're online and wait for someone to accept it whenever.

With the changes to AV coming, I really think the force launcher would be a fantastic addition to the AV arsenal. Imagine a tank running rampant in 1.7 only for a wee scout to pop up behind it and use a giant AV shotgun to deal some serious damage...
