Final Cut Pro X seems to be the only editor that can handle masking and trimming the way I want/need, and it turns out I'll still need another application to create green screens in order to make the effects even work, lol.

I actually went and talked to other editors in the review scenario and told them what it is I'm looking for. I reached out to 4 different Youtube guys who talk about editing, how to improve, and what you need. Turns out, one was a voice actor working for Funimation! :O

If I want to play several clips at once while trimming clips and cutting characters and portions of the clip from each other to create new content, there are no cheap editors.

Well, today just got real sh*tty. Going to have to take my dog to the vet tomorrow morning and have her put down. Had her for 15 years...but she just fell down the stairs. Pretty sure she had a stroke/seizure as she's completely disoriented and I don't think she can see at all anymore.

you know, I did quite a bit of work on the 'moe off' segment before going back to constantly writing about different shows. *Just finished show 13 in 1 week*

Non Non Bu, Order is a Rabbit, Yuru Yuri, and the more recently, Himouto! Umaru-chan all follow the same trends of cute characters + cute situations = a good time.

This is the basis of our understanding of the 'moe' genre, but this is actually a slice of life trend that's been going on for years.

'moe' shows actually don't exist. If you do a genre check, you'll see shows labeled 'moe' range from cute and cuddly, to dark and freaky. *Order is a Rabbit vs When They Cry*

As the years progress our characters are getting cuter and more entertaining to hide the same plot elements we've seen before. Non Non Buyri is a perfect example, offering up nothing new in anything, but still managing to be a great watch.

It's the same concept that's made Reality TV in america so popular, interesting characters, especially cute ones *Looking at you Road Trip and Real World* really bring in audiences. Both male and female.

put them in real life settings that your audience can relate too - you're bound to get a hit. I kinda scratch my head that anime hasn't done this.

But breaking down the 'moe' shows that do technically exist, you can only judge them based on one quality - character enjoyment. And on that regard, Yuru Yuri's Ayano is queen in my book.

Just got home from work. Am I a bad person for wishing that my dog had died while I was gone? Now I'm just waiting for my ex to drop off a leash so I can take her up to the vet. Too much of a puss to be in the room with her when she's euthanized. Was planning on burying her in the backyard but it's too cold and the ground's too hard to do it, so I'm just having her cremated and I'll take the ashes.

Started re-watching Yamada-kun and the 7 Witches to try and cheer myself up. Have to be strong when I pick up my girls tonight...

Back home. Never got the leash so I had to carry her like a baby. Just barely made it through paying the bill without bawling.

What I want from you guys is a list of shows you'd like to see my 'opinion' on, and a list of shows you'd like to see critically done.
