Thank goodness I didn't invest in PC.
For those that did though, I sincerely hope CCP is planning to reimburse the eighty million lost and the time lost in augmentation (since that's real life cash we're talkin'). |

I was able to get to 800KB/s for like 2 seconds. Now it's at 33%. I'm gonna try a few more times. After that, quitting until it's fixed. |

I am still amazed that they cannot find out what the heck is wrong with this and why it is affecting the east coast subscribers so much. At least they stopped posting the BS excuses for what they think is wrong. I'll bet anything that as soon as my first PC battle that I'm now going to miss is over, I'll be able to log in like nothing ever happened. |

It would be nice if there was an actual response into the technical aspects of this issue. Keeping people in the dark isn't really good for business, especially when they have actual money being wasted away; literally. People are watching their money going to waste. I don't mind taking a break from the game for a little while. I'd at least like to know what's going, not a bunch of random gibberish.
Not keeping in touch with players who actually spend money on this game doesn't look too well in a consumer's eyes. |

Alrighty People, we're aware of the issue, and have been trying a few things to try to get this resolved. At this point though, we could use a few of y'all's help.
Basically, if you're having trouble with this 4.6MB patch, we need you to run the following from a command line and then send in a petition to us.
DO NOT PUT THE OUTPUT HERE ON THE FORUMS!
Please run the following from a command prompt (Windows Key + R, type "cmd" without quotes and press enter) on your computer:
tracert dust.dyn.ccpgamescdn.com
The output data from this is what we're looking for, but of course only if you're having this specific issue. Once again DO NOT POST THE OUTPUT HERE ON THE FORUMS!
You can submit the data in petition by sending it to us in an email to [email protected] |

Oh ok.. that makes sense............... I havn't been able to play since around 9:30am this morning EST. I turned on Dust so I could play some more of this amazing game, and I couldn't because of the 4.60 MiB Game Client Update that will not proceed past 0.0%. That is the issue I am having. To clarify for the GM's that the Game Client Update will not proceed at all for most of us players. It acts like it is stuck. Right after it attempts to log us in, the menu continues to run, but the Game Client Update will not Update like it's supposed to. There. |
