Don't know if it could help, but I recorded a wireshark log from the start of the game through the xmb til it starts repeating the encrypted handshake holding idle at 0% for the 4.60MB update. I can email it if need be.

Would be awesome if you can send it over as attachment to our petition. A .txt would be nicer that a .zip, due to security reasons.
Please put "Connection issues - GM Unicorn" as subject, so we'll be able to spot it in no time.
