I want all the items of the game (Grenades, Weapons, Modules, and Equipment) has its variants in their 3 levels (STD, ADV PRO).
And also add some new types of grenades. |

shields will never be balanced until something like that happens Laser rifles will just be better if theyre changedlike that honestly, i can see them having the only profile that isnt uniform as it should be like 80% armor 110% shield to not put them over the top by slaughtering armor faster yet giving shields at least a tiny chance to not get 700 shields ripped off instantly. But ScRs do need a change to not be absolute trash against armor- honestly a slower ROF and higher amount of shots before overheat with the profile change you mentioned would be ideal IMO.

I can't really argue against you because your argument is pure speculation as to how players would react to the change. Neither you nor I know how it would really go down. I can predict that your scenario of making null cannons vulnerable would promote just as much "tank spam" as my solution though, so there is no difference. As it stands currently, installations are already farmed by dedicated tankers for points so this wouldnt make much impact on gameplay by itself. Only installations within 400m of the MCC would be able to do anything anyway, and of those, only rails. It wouldn't have much of any impact on the game.
I would, however, like you to define tank spam in terms of numbers. Tanks are expensive and frankly pretty fragile once the enemy team decides they want them dead. I don't think 3 to 5 tanks always being present on the field would really be a problem for the game. Nor do I think that 10+ tanks would be a typical reality either -- even good tankers have to play conservatively if they don't want to go bankrupt.
I do believe that this would shift the meta to focus more on the outside of the map than on the inside, but I don't see that as a problem. Inside points are closer together and can typically be held by a few competent people, while the outside is where most of the MCC damage be scored and where the battle rages the fiercest. In the end, it would just be one meta shakeup in a long line of shakeups. A different pace to play the game at for a while.
Currently, the meta forces most teams to slam as many bodies in the city as possible for the win which, at least at the time of the current Dust build, is very bad for the stability of the client. I think anything we can do to passively push the meta away from that is a good idea.

not sure if this would be doable server side.
Team chat needs to be accessible during a battle again and It'd be great to be able to toggle channels with the select button or something.
Reason being the new players need a better way to communicate whether it's a good or bad experience so they can learn. I remember closed beta team chat having a lot players helping each other. There was also the time where you could hear some of the enemy team which was pretty funny. |

If a Scout gets in there to hack the objective, it doesn't mean anything unless they've got a team behind them to back them up, otherwise the enemy team just counter-hacks it or waits for it to flip for free points. The problem lies in maps where it's nearly impossible to infiltrate once the other team has bunker ed down, and there are several like that. If you could spawn on the objective in a Dom match like you can in Skirmish, yeah, I could see hacking the point to harass the enemy team and take out a spawn point being beneficial. But there is literally no point in Dom to hacking the objective unless you've got enough team members down there to fortify yourself after the hack.

Most such special abilities you refer to we're absolute crutches anyway that actually only made it easier for good players take you apart. It got to the point where with 'Dead Angles' alone I was clearing Hosts from their worlds by the dozen.
