You also need to make me a fair offer.... Well, first, I caught that edit there, but since I am nice, I shall edit your edit in.
Anyway, I simply would like to find a way to remove the 'no benefit for Kami' part, seeing as it is quite impossible.
Now, denying it to Kami-majority areas such as Corpselight and the smaller, rising city of Paresh would be acceptable, unnerving, but albeit acceptable.
The city of Corpselight will likely still receive some benefits in the richer regions, formed of mainly Osmar and Parians.

I'm waiting for Vash to give me my slaves and Pataris to try to establish both how they know about the mysterious resource and trade deal.
That or Johnny to tell Sia'tri or Csh'te what's what.
Also for reference is this secret to the Titanium Weave some kind of super secret mineral or whatever that simply can't be reproduced by anyone outside of the Paric. If so the answer of your trade deal is '**** Off'.

If so the answer of your trade deal is '**** Off'. Well, I assumed you would eventually propose the trade deal because my people don't really know of the mineral. Perhaps give the proposal to Yoi and have him travel back to Patris to inform Jakyl, since he seems to be the only important Creed figure in the Isles at the moment.
As for the Titanium weave, it isn't some sort of special mineral or whatever, it is simply the product of combining strong metallic ores with silken thread or woolen thread.
The technique was originally Dwarven. (I have their land now that they are gone, though some has fallen into Cauti hands) The technique was shared with Parians, specifically those closest to Revon, as a sign of goodwill. What I propose is that I give you finished products, but keep the technique to ourselves, (Bad business to sell the technique.) for the raw mineral you have.
Also, it is 'Patris'.

Well I suppose I could initiate a trade but I still don't know much about the Parians because we've not really developed a rapport.... you guys not appearing to have much to trade, and you yourself admitted that a few posts ago.
That said there is no chance me trading you the knowledge of Ragnites existence or quantities of it as a raw material if I am not going to be able to replicate the technology you offer me.
In short I am not selling the monopoly I have on a raw material into a dependency on a foreign product. That would be bad business.
Any deal has to leave both of use feeling like we got utterly ripped off. For example....
Primary Components (Negotiable)
- No deal on the raw material. Alone its too valuable. I'll trade finished products for finished products under the assumption that it is as difficult for you to discover their operation as it is me discover how to weave titanium.
- To ensure the exclusivity of our deal as well as your nations good will we'll establish a period of exclusive trade as well as a period of time after which Patris has first rights to the purchase of exported Fabricae for an additional specified term.
- In return you offer me a political hostage belonging to the royal family or one from each of the ruling households to reside in the Sy'Thal Isles during the period of exclusivity to ensure your co-operation.
- The mutual establishment of Embassies in both nations capital cities is to be carried out and land purchased or ceded to the Sovereign nation establishing the embassy.
Secondary Components (Open to Much Greater Compromise)
- Mur will be dispatched to localities within Pataris with high Kami populations to conduct biological and anthropological surveys.
- Mur offer reduced prices for shipping services to the Parians across the continent.
- A re-negotiation of economic policies to create more agreeable taxation upon imports and exports between nations.
- The Royal Family of Patris acknowledges formally the People of the Isles dominion over the Sy'thal and the Southern Seas as well as the autonomy of the Artugan people.

It's fine Vash. Soon I'll have tanks like you.... except not as good since I didn't actually choose to specialise in them.....
They'll be disposable.
Also I think at some point we'll need to discuss the pros and cons of Magic vs Technology. Either magic literally is a parallel of technology allowing for the same effects/advancements/etc with a different power source or we flesh out what magic excels at vs what technology excels at.
E.G- Once we hit WW1 Era and you guys get Maxim Machineguns that fire bullets I'll have MG32's that fires..... I dunno magically propelled crystal or bone fragments.

He was also very close to a late Revon, who visited the isles, which gave his House a good bit of influence. (Specifically among Royalists and sailors)
He still has rather good standings with Jakyl, despite not much contact between them.
He would certainly be granted audience with Jakyl.
He is also one of the very few choices in the Isles.
Unless you wish to send your own to Patris.
...and there are ways to contact him without seeing him admitted to the Coral Tower.
Almost forgot, I am pretty sure a Kami has been admitted to the Coral Tower before, as protection for Revon.

In all likelihood yes but this time with 300 Mur at her back, two of the three most powerful Shapers in the Isles, and the Maelstrom's Captain.
All in all 300 soldiers and 3 heroic figures as well as 14 Artugan slaves whom I manage to buy out of bondage with the supplies given to the Tal-Man.

You think it's not far wrong to suggest that by the time Shuri'den gets back to the Isles magi-tech rifles and cannon are in development? I mean I do have the real things thanks to Vash to base my own technology off of.
Besides that the first things I'll be working on are... Pumps and Oceanic Propulsion Technologies.
