You are right, she only attempted to attack and so no Blood Law was broken, however if she did attack she would turn into a dark ancestor, or so the legend goes, was going to have Jon explain it in my next post.

Yeah the bulk of the Mur Fleet is blockading the continent, and no they aren't surrounding it, they're just patrolling from Shaper made Islands for any Kysmali Fleets that set sail. Also bear in mind Kysmal is a very interesting place and very unlike the other lands. It is constantly beset by strong winds that flow from East to West across massive devoid regions of plains/steppes in a featureless landscape that is only broken by massive basalt spires of rock that protrude dozens of feet out of the ground and vast plateaus within whose leeward arms settlements can be seen. Each Province of the Kingdom is dominated by one such Plateau where the only permanently habitable settlements can be found. Beyond that strong winds, sleeting rain, and vast thunderstorms tear at the land altering it. Because of this the Kysmali only have a few cities that could even be described as ports given the difficulties of employing naval tactics they've never really tried to develop past large troop transports and food barges. This is why the Mur have been able to keep them contained to the main land being both able to sail the seas with less difficulty and employing superior technology against them. Issue currently with them is that he King has for many years been trying to unite his disparate provinces with the intent to leave the mainlands looking for some external conquest in the manner that Kysmali love.
