I'm not really concerned. I have a very solid understanding of what Arkena plans to start with and how to progress.... when he does arrive I'd already thought of potential contingencies for him......and now since I know magic exists....something I didn't know previously.... what's to be concerned about.
Dudes who worry me are the Osmar.
Their racial design is bloody flawless. Rifles, Ships, Pike and Plate Armour. Trader Nation with Naval Traditions. Already militarised. Technologically Advanced. Magically Advanced. Numerous, Own Large Tracts of Land on the Main Continent, Owns Crasmere in the North. Has potential to annex Tal-Man between the Cauti, the Bloods, and his own lands. Aeschild's more lenient rule is on the decline. Knows about the Cathay-Raht which we don't. Is friends with them. Cathay Raht are giant ******* Cat People with Dwarfs.
From a military perspective they have everything my people lack. Experienced Modern Soldiers. Disciplined Formations. Vast Lands. Naval Traditions Rivalling my own. Etc. Too flexible and adaptable for its own good.
Unlike Spade other RP factions have more obvious weaknesses to exploit.
I apologise if I've presented them as flawless, that wasn't the intention. Militarily, the chain of command is both a strength and weakness. Whilst it lends to well organised and disciplined formations if that's cut it's put into disarray. Particularly when you consider that presently Earls and Barons themselves tend to lead armies. Say if Coenwulf became king and declared war on the Paric. A quick way to end that might be to take him prisoner in battle. He would however refuse to give up land. On that note, a combined strength and weakness is that the nation is heavily influenced by its ruler. Say again Coenwulf becomes king, his rule could lead to Naval traditions being somewhat neglected in favour of land. The earls also have a great deal of autonomy, they are only required to provide a quarter of their soldiers to the monarch in times of war. They can provide more if they wish, but that requires them to like their liege. Also I don't think I've gotten any magical abilities yet.
No I don't mean that's how you have presented them. It's how I interpret their flexibility and skill sets. In this world humans really are a dominant force and for good reason. Clear and well rounded empire development.
Perhaps their one weakness is that they are too well rounded and don't particularly excel in too many fields in the way a meta human race might.
E.G- Artugian poisoned claws, Mur capacity to swim and stay submerged, Tal-Man size and strength, etc.

E.G- Artugian poisoned claws, Mur capacity to swim and stay submerged, Tal-Man size and strength, etc. Oh physically yes, of course, they try to make up for that with the stuff they use. The only thing I give them in that regard is that they'd be used to the cold (I assume due to how far up they are in the map. Incidentally, that's where the pale skin and hair came from when Raven initially did the map.)
What're you looking at me like that for? I'll shank you I will.

Only thing to remember is that plate armour is incredibly impractical stuff unlike chainmail. You can't wear it in arid environments because it gets too heavy and conducts heat too well.....or in freezing environments because of the inverse.

I'm back!
Feels good.
@Group I designed the Cauti to be the guys whom take down the Creed, but now it seems they are hellbent on taking down Spade, Vash, and most of mine.
The only thing that makes some races (like the Mur) safe is they are not a sea-faring people... yet. They have plans for the Mur...

Yup. He'd need to report the findings from the Southern Continents to Shuri'den and also is responsible for K'lo. If she disintegrates without him knowing he's ****** big time.

Oh and Raven you're going to need to pick up the Greatsword if you are in No Man's Wharf. It's typically located up near where you find Gavlan in the standard version of the game and in the dark area above the Fiends that cause bleed and slow.
28 Strength and 10 Dexterity to us though only requires something like 16 Strength to two hand. Likely going to be the best boss slaying armament available to a Strength Build until you find some of the late game weapons.
I recommend it especially if you wan the Crypt Black Sword, PRAISE MUTHA FUCKIN' NITO, the soul of which can be acquired from The Rotten in Black Gulch on NG+ OR if a Bonfire Aesthetic is used at the hidden chamber bonfire where you summon Lucatiel.
It requires 40 STR and 10 DEX and functions more like a great club than a great sword though it scales amazingly with Dark and can hit for upwards of 500 damage again bosses and in PvP.

Nito is my Lord. He was in Dark Souls where I and two other Gravelords ran a User Covenant with the purpose of educating people on Gravelord Mechanics and lore based events. I was glad to see the Soul of Nito in Dark Souls II especially in the form of the CBS my favourite weapon.

I passed No Man's Wharf, and I am currently in Harvest Valley, in the room before the boss. (I was going to go in, but realized I had no Eatus Flasks (0/5), 3 Lifegems, 7 Throwing Knives, 2 Witching Urns, 1 Firebomb, and 1 of the other bomb object. I have 2 Poison Throwing Knives also.
Oh, and I prefer to use the Shortsword. I like it's style, fast and effective.
It's +7 right now and it is pretty nice, I usually use it with the Silver Eagle Light Shield, although I hardly block.
Morning Star was nice in the beginning. Then I transitioned to Shortsword and have been using it since. Oh, and so far I have killed the following bosses; Flexile Sentry. Skeleton Lords Old Dragonrider Dragonrider Last Giant Can't think of the rest.
Anyway, I have $20 to spend on a game in PlaystationStore and I am currently choosing between Tomb Raider Digital Edition and Borderlands 2. Any advice on the choice? (I just want the one I will get more fun out of and play longer.)
Currently Playing: Dark Souls II.
Class: Warrior
Location: No Man's Wharf.

I get to do a little rundown of the history of titles in Paric society now that you ask that.
Originally it was Trigander, but it was soon changed to Haed when the Angelis introduced themselves.
Anyway, it changed from Haed to Cautian, then to ___ (Forgot)
Eventually it went to Lord.
So, it would be addressed to 'Lord Jakyl of House Revon.'
Alternatively, it can be addressed to 'Jakyl, Head of Creed.'

They have taken more from the Parians than anyone else. About 47 - 50% of Patris was taken by the Cauti.
Yes, they are your enemy. Yes, they are advanced, they are meant to be.
