What I am saying is a can almost quote the sex scenes from 50 Shades of Grey. And I certainly did not commit them to memory so I could occasionally whisper them to a close friend of mine to really weird them out. She absolutely hates it.
There is some good backstory to that little chronicle..... very funny stuff.

Well, to be entirely honest, I wasn't going to, until I realized I would have no use for him alive.

Magic is common place? Systematised Magic? Lost Magic? Wild Magic? Magic is a very specific gift? Magic can be given to others? Magic can be inherited? Magic fading from the world? Can magic form something from nothing? Is magic all powerful? Is magic something that can only make small changes? Does magic take the requisite energy from the body to achieve a change? Can magic kill it's wielder? Is spirit summoning a thing?
Depending on the answers it will determine if I can bring back the concept I chose not to use and would explain how the Mur are able to shape stone so easily.
I left my personal favourite off that list since I don't want it copied.

In some areas. You could say so. Perhaps? Perhaps? Yes. Unknown. Unknown. What? Nope. Hell No. It's capable of big things if used right. Certain kinds. Yes. Yes, but I plan for that to be largely unknown.
If you want to use the Spirit Summoning, please try to keep it minor. So far we have only seen a flash of light embedded onto a piece of paper with magic's use.

Necromancy and Dwarves were the only real things seen.

Just asking. If magic is to be a thing it need specific unchangeable rules that define what it is and how it can be used.
E.G- Could a single magician conjure a storm that would affect an entire town, region, continent on their own?
Are common magicians incredibly weak and barely able to lift rocks?
Do they require incantations, spells, materials?
Where does this magical energy come from? Is it based on the stamina of the magician who casts the spell, some outside force? Etc.
Personally I'm not normally a fan of games being ultra powerful since they tend to quickly unbalance and skew how things work in an otherwise clear instance. That being said having them incredibly weak really devalues magic as a whole. So does any form of magic where literally anything is possible......

Religion of the Tal-Man
The religion of the Tal-Man is fairly straight forward. They have a mixture of Ancestor Worship and God worship. They do not actually worship ancestors but ask for the ancestor to ask God for favor on their behalf. The most common people for prayers are either the ones with the greatest honors in life either for the family or even the Nation as a whole.
Say a family member two or three generations back was a great soldier or a merchant with amazing profits would be prayed to. Or several popular for any person to ask for assistance like Ryan The Indomitable, he was rumored to have defeated three whole Blood squads with nothing but melee.
Misc.
They only believe in one over arching god and to a point like Hinduism all other god worshiping is just a lower form of worshiping god.
In order to achieve heaven is based on success in life based on where you started. A rich man is expected to make more while also giving to charities; a poor born is to do his best to work towards a better life.
Religion usually takes a back seat in personal lives but on eve of battle or other major events will push most to ask Ryan or their own ancestors for assistance.
