They are as modern as you are however they have a magic weapon which by all accounts is not present at the fort.

They are as modern as you are however they have a magic weapon which by all accounts is not present at the fort. Correct, they would not be given the weapon until they are placed to push forward.
These weapons are able to be held and ran with while delivering a massive blow, burning right through every flesh based creature within 70m. (They shoot beam, so think blasters from Star Wars Clones) the center and most obviously the most protected part of the rifle is where the beams are created by harnessing the Magical potential which all creatures have. (Even Ark's whom seem to have the magic of cloaking.) if the rifle is destroyed with magical energy still contained in the armored sphere center, the blast could do devastating amounts of damage, or nothing at all.
Psychosis is about to hit home on the Tal-Men. Can't say what's going to happen, but it'll test the toxin created. A hallucinogenic toxin to be exact.

Hey, so for my siege I did some rolls using a d20
20 (Critical success) large breach in the walls. 13 (Minor success) 1st assault. Significant defender deaths, noticeable attacker deaths, fort not yet taken. 12 (Minor success) 2nd assault, similar to 1st but consecutive assaults result in walls taken. 20 (Critical success) Central castle is stormed, attackers overrun completely, fortress taken.
That cool?
What're you looking at me like that for? I'll shank you I will.

I think I might...... I've also done re-rerolls for a few things that will happen in the section with very interesting results. Overall the result remains the same but the individual siege mechanics of the fight are oh so much closer.
Also rolled for Tal-Man committing their main host to the assault and rolled low (aka smart) resulting in reinforcing the vanguard only.
Casualties
Tal-Man Vanguard - 800 Men - 237 Killed , 409 Wounded.
Cauti-Regiments - 1400 Men - 312 Killed, 189 Wounded.

Sure. Assuming this could ever be mass produced the weapon magnifies what lack of talent or power is not already there enough to wreak havoc across entire lines of soldiers accurately at 70m in an age where we haven't even discovered the breach loading rifle.......
Throwing these of the front line will cause me to silver bullet the scenario. I think when you said magical super weapon people were expecting massive experimental mana cannon that requires very specific requirements to be fired but incredible destructive power..... not man portable Scrambler Lances.

Queen Aeschild Morcarsdotter of Hroth - Queen of Osmarium, Earl of Burtgun. - Has much Creed training, but upon the death of her father left to rule the kingdom. - Possesses an affinity for administration
Earl Cenred Gudramsson of Howe - Earl of Howe - Served as his fathers chancellor and thus has good diplomatic skills - Growing weary of perceived decadence under Aeschild's rule.
Earl Coenwulf Bericsson of Dunburgh - Earl of Kilerth - Underwent training as a Knight which gave him excellent combat and leadership skills. Inspires men on the battlefield - Is highly ambitious and seeks the throne for himself.
Earl Gelfrid Ecgberhtsson of Crasmere - Earl of Crasmere - Accomplished sailor - Indifferent to who rules the Kingdom provided they don't infringe on his feudal rights
Godwin the Explorer - Merchant turned explorer who led an expedition in search of wealth - A kind of governor of the new settlement constructed on Cy'rath (Osmar write it as Kirath) Unsure of what to do with him now. He was to receive orders to extend an offer of vassalisation to King Za'Harr but Cryptic seems to be one now.
Then of course Chancellor Eofor and Marshall Bannoth who are members of the Queens council and act as advisors in their respective fields. The Earls have their own but they'll just be referred to by their titles.

@True
Less Armoured Cores, has an overheat (Which if over-heated the weapon becomes unusable), weakens user so no melee wins. and finally range reduced to 20m at most.
The beam of which I meant would only harm flesh, and upon hitting a wall, dissipate.
I might as well right up bonuses for each little leader. (Commander Kaltimat and Earl Coenwulf. Kaltimat receiving a +1 when defending, and Coenwulf grabbing a +1 in first wave attacks.)
This sound good? (Leave the battle as is, it is fine.)

You guys prefer the battle as perspective oriented or general synopsis?
Former can net us some more interesting descriptions and language techniques though the latter surmises the battle more clearly.

Yeah I need a bit of time this evening to write it all up. Though straight after work I'm off for a 10km bike ride, then going to the gym, then going to see 'The Women he's Undressed' (And no its not a.... its about the man who designed dresses for all of the famous actresses of the 1950's).
So I likely won't have time until well after 10pm tonight.

Pardon my grammar. I don't currently have time for second passes which you will probably note in most of my posts when you see clunky language, repeat words, and spelling mistakes.
I really should go back through and correct them however.

1st) Tie, Tal-men declared victor of this move. 2nd) Cauti Win by 1 Point 3rd) Tal-Men Win by 2 Points 4th) Cauti Win by 3 Points.
Point Tally: Tal-Men: 31 Cauti: 32
Cut right down to the core for this battle, although sadly the bonuses were not added.
I am presuming there is no special leader as none has been declared, so the Cauti would gain a +8 with bonuses (+2 for each Skirmish due to Kalimat's defensive stance in this battle and his bonus applying to defense.)
Also, I decided to buff up the Base Bonuses. Each battle the bonus goes up by 0.5 Each starts at 2. Should be nice.
