It is logistically impossible to fund a force to battle the blue donut while being outside of it.
To supply that force from corp side would require to have a part in PC already.
To supply that force from individual pockets would require to grind the everloving **** out of the game.

I never said anything about funding, did I? I said, recruit talent, and let it help you. How long do you think it takes an intelligent person to figure out Dust strategies? How much effort do you think it takes for 16 players to properly coordinate to be effective?

How about you show how badass you are by splintering off and taking over MH with just your corp if it is that easy. You actually have a large portion we don't have to make it feasible. Seriously man, I see SO many hard corps talking in here that aren't DNS. wallets notwithstanding, I can fund 4 clone packs myself. I'm in a Corp that has 400 ppl in it. Alts aside, we have 100 ppl who can troop up. If I even cared I would donate 100 mil to shut this **** up. Just work it out if u wanna fight. I'll bring a heavy, tanker, logi, commando all proto. Put me In the ring with them and I'll pay for my own deaths...but for CAT MERC sake, if u wanna do something do it! Who cares if we go broke or don't win? honestly I am guessing the public face of DNS is a cover for some EVE plot. That would be cooler than a bunch of guys just holding hands. Also it would play more to the stories I hear about eve.

maybe I am just being wishful in my thinking. If it is really just an isk farm then I pity them. Either way its a sand box way to integrate eve and dust by some members of the community. they were probably sick of waiting for CCP to add more integration. Who really knows tho?

Nobody works for free and everyman had his price.

I can recruit a hundred talented players, build them up hard and carefully not burn them out. Raise taxes to fund an offensive against some one in the blue donut, fight, lose and grind; repeating the process.

But nobody works for free: be it emotional investment into their corp and character, be it the logistical aspects of funding a war and grinding the isk or wanting a paycheck for fighting and dying again and again. These practices are not eternally sustainable. Humans are not robots. Attrition takes a toll.

The better supplied wins.

It's economic warfare at it's purest and when you're looking up that mountain you have to fight on, it's hard to give a siht because the costs are too high for such marginal returns. .. if you ever make them.

Hence why the donut thrives unmolested.

Now let's say there are few corps that are hardened, battle ready and with enough morale to make a war.

Wtf is going to stop you or Kane or fiddlestix from coming along and buying out the opposition? You have a huge cash reserve and a large concentration of rich players in case of an emergency.

3XXXD learned that the hard way in the last concerted effort against proto-DNS.
Not too many are willing to make those mistakes again without the rewards looking pretty damn good.
