I am seeing a huge amount of vitriol and hatred directed towards members of DNS on the forums presently, in all sections, often regardless of the topic. There have been intelligent posts which have nothing to do with people's affiliations and yet there are people responding with 'You're a member of DNS, your opinion is invalid' or some variant thereof.
So I have a question. Why? Why is there a need for such hatred?
It is clear that DNS is dominating PC right now. Because of broken mechanics, this provides DNS with vast quantities of ISK. Some trashy posters brag about this. When people such as Kane post suggestions to improve PC, often blatantly in favour of those who would attack DNS (clone pack size increases, for example) these suggestions are dismissed by many because of a blind hatred for DNS.
And then there's a huge amount of hatred for DNS. Apparently because of this. Is that the reason you folks hate DNS? I'd quite like to know.
There are some people in DNS who are inflammatory posters. This is natural - in any large group there are going to be some people who aren't paragons of humanity. Is this a reason to judge everyone in DNS because of it?
So I'd like to hear from you. Why do you hate DNS?
Everyone always hated the top corps. Since they all banded together they get hate and disgust from the vast majority of players. I asked a few Wolves if we should look into joining, they were down. So its jealousy too it seems. I called them pussies. We made this corp so we could have some shelter from the cesspool of new Eden. I personally don't care about what they do, if embracing the opposition is easier than fighting them more power to em, literally. I am disappointed in the two wolves who want to be part of the donut, they constantly ***** about proto stomping, but would join in it too. Oh well New Eden turns good people into douches.

It would go a long way with the community. They are the poop the bacteria forms upon. Three levels below the scum that inhabits New Eden.

1. from new players that they mercilessly stomp
2. from all the gloating they do about it in the forums, not to mention the snide remarks and down talk they do to everyone
two good reasons to hate them....
now if you're in dns and you don't do this, you should start thinking about whether you want to degrade yourself to associating with this sort of scum...
if you choose to, then you may as well be just as guilty of it.
No, they are not. Nobody is scum for playing with the people they enjoy being with. Only people who are scum are the people who take this game too seriously to honestly hate someone over it. But that's just my opinion. (Not directed at you)
I used to hate imps. Talking with mith changed that. I realized imps were a stress I could just shut off. It changed the game for me. I actually came to respect a few of you. How can I play with the people I enjoy being with when they have long since quit dust? I have my Wolves now but the majority of my RLfriends won't play because it sucks. I had a squad with my two brothers today. One is new one is from open beta. They played three matches before it was Netflix time. We all live in different cities so the half hour I got to hang was cool. I doubt I can get them back Dust is not fun. Many people are sacrificed so we can have better stats. A whole game mode is sacrificed for some ego. It is difficult to see anything done by vets in a positive light.
the bonuses for being here longer are great until you realize its killing the game. Instead of building a community Alot of us are fortifying a small percentage of it. Its war right? Well not technically. Its peace and subjugation. Only the power that DNS has is ruling a small aspect of a small game. People might come to the conclusion they can turn your entire alliance off and read a book or play a game where the developers QA the product they develop.

So is no one allowed to beat everyone else and take everything? Because it will 'kill the game and community?'
The game is not fucking ready to support EVE tier predatory thinking. Not technically, not community wise. And it wont ever be ready unless you put down your ishukone hater blockers and think for a second about the consequences of your actions for the future of this game. You drive away new players by the hundreds, every single day, and when asked if you understand what the fu ck you are actually doing you retort with "SUE ME!" or "YOU`RE NOT THE BOSS OF ME" and sumsuch along the lines. Like a broken record, every single one resorts to passive agressive bullshit to save face once confronted. Shi tters like you dont respect skill, and dont want a challenge, plain and simple. Thats why DNS exists. And I will repeat it once more, just for you: The game in its current state is not ready to support EVE mentality. It is technically incapable. The community in its current state is not ready to support EVE mentality. It has not reached critical mass to allow it to grow or sustain its numbers. I also hear dns retorts like... "you all are peasants" and "get gud scrub"..... classy shite like that.... Pretty sure everyone has been saying those things since closed beta. And I agree, game is not ready for EvE mentality. Change is needed, and the change that is needed is larger clone packs, easier to attack districts, and a way for numbers to matter in PC. Make this game a REAL WAR. Not this lobby shooter crap. Mechanics that don't allow 80 players joining hands removing thousands.
did DNS really acomplish anything besides peace?

There is a shitload of talent scattered across a bunch of corps. What I see is good players who don't have the means or conviction to make a stand. A lot of us prefer hangin with our own guys. I tried to make a team of ppl who could fight you guys but the talent seems to be reserved for other things. No corp hopping or alliance joining. A simple 16man team working together. People would rather not fight you guys. Instead they complain here and ingame. It is sad. I am sickened by how spineless the community is. I guess its the pub stomped mentality.

Are you REALLY meaning that? Wow, just wow. You're the single biggest idiot out of every anti-dns poster I have ever seen. Congratulations, someone get this guy a BPO suit with a dunce hat on it.
There is a community here - you're just blinded to anything but hate.
It is logistically impossible to fund a force to battle the blue donut while being outside of it. To supply that force from corp side would require to have a part in PC already. To supply that force from individual pockets would require to grind the everloving **** out of the game. Sure I can scramble say 50 really pissed people, and then start a coordinated offensive. We-¦ll run dry in a week and then what? Grind some more in pubs just to sustain the assault? PC in Dust is a war of attrition. When I got into PC I first realized what that war of attrition means here. We lost hard, we lost on ressources, we lost on time, we lost on manpower. Ultimately we won some battles but we lost the war. Now let me ask you something, how does one suppose to win a war of attrition against someone who has literally unlimited ressources? You are the one who-¦s blind here, and deaf on top of it, if you believe that your turbohugbox is even penetrable from the outside. ^^this is the single most sensible comment i have read in this entire thread. sensiable? Sense is ******* doing something instead of crying. Had no ideas you supported tears over action. Thought you were more of a front soldier type, not the beaten down by a big stick type. You guys seriously make me sick. Dust doesn't need people like you, leave. It's a competitive atmosphere here where people striving to always get the next edge. If you can't ******* keep up then sit the **** down and shut the **** up. Lol, competitive atmosphere, I didn't know that circlejerking was competitive. It is the guys like you that should make you sick, you don't even know what the true meaning of competition is. Apparently, you think that getting everyone together in a giant circle singing kumbaya and fellating one another is competition. If you are actually looking for competition, why does DNS suck up all of the self-proclaimed elite and then sit around complaining that no one is really giving them any competition?
honestly I am guessing the public face of DNS is a cover for some EVE plot. That would be cooler than a bunch of guys just holding hands. Also it would play more to the stories I hear about eve.
maybe I am just being wishful in my thinking. If it is really just an isk farm then I pity them. Either way its a sand box way to integrate eve and dust by some members of the community. they were probably sick of waiting for CCP to add more integration. Who really knows tho?
