How exactly it'll happen is uncertain - probably the main thing preventing splinter groups is that the rest of the group will just combine to crush them. A co-ordinated fragmentation is more likely, and that may well lead to real war. Or, people will get bored. That's what happened with EoN, after all. Unfortunately I suppose there's a great deal of hatred for the winners. Also, while most people want to just whine about the current state of affairs there are some really fantastic groups like OH and WTF which are actively bringing the fight. I actually really appreciate those guys for having a shot at it. And hey, to an extent they're succeeding - they've taken districts back. It's a shame more people aren't trying. There seems to be a build-up of people at 'Final Resolution'. It might just be my imagination, but I wish you luck. well im working my way to get into outr heaven to help out with the war effort in pc. im also good friends with the leader since we use to play armored core V together. Why do you hate DNS? Everyone always hated the top corps. Since they all banded together they get hate and disgust from the vast majority of players. I asked a few Wolves if we should look into joining, they were down. So its jealousy too it seems. I called them pussies. We made this corp so we could have some shelter from the cesspool of new Eden. I personally don't care about what they do, if embracing the opposition is easier than fighting them more power to em, literally. I am disappointed in the two wolves who want to be part of the donut, they constantly ***** about proto stomping, but would join in it too. Oh well New Eden turns good people into douches. Crush them

Is it only DNS responsible for this? I go into pub matches alone the vast majority of the time and see stomp squads everywhere that aren't part of DNS. There is a terrible NPE. This is not caused purely by DNS. This is caused by a huge number of things - a complete lack of explanations or tutorials, terrible starting gear, and stomp squads - not just ones from DNS, but any squad will inevitably wreck a new player. What about PC is it that we're 'abusing'? It's a terrible system that we've mostly 'won'. There are no bugs or exploits currently involved. Should we choose not to 'abuse it'? What do we do then? If people like the ones in the linked thread were reprimanded for being badposters, you would see a lot less hate directed towards DNS. Instead, the fact that DNS players can keep shitting on other Dust players means that the alliance implicitly endorses this behaviour, and so the anger will continue to be directed at you. Also, it doesn't help that your alliance typically rolls through pub matches with proto gear (seemingly not giving a damn about ensuring newbros don't burn out), but again, that goes back to the attitude change I was talking about. If you are going to complain "but, but, it's too harrrd to change attitudes!!!", it really isn't: a squad or two consistently correcting others and preventing them from pubstomping/badposting would quickly spread change through your corp, and once you do that, you can get your leadership to affect wider change throughout your alliance. Grab a few of your friends and get started. Of course, if you do not want to do this and would rather continue the status quo, then go for it, but don't complain that DNS members are disliked in the wider community. Edit: Of course DNS isn't the only one to protostomp, but saying that "Oh, but other people do it too, so we can do it!" won't do anything to help your image. If you don't protostomp (by avoiding killing low-level players), your alliance could become the paragon of good sportsmanship, and just maybe shame other alliances into stopping.

I don't really expect you to do something about what is happening in PC, what's done is done. I still don't like seeing you acting all confused and insulted when you are reprimanded for it, though. There's no reason to go giving back districts or ISK, but you should recognize that it isn't good and that until things change you will be reprimanded for it. If you can't deal with that, then maybe you're in the wrong place. I was citing LLC as being another corp on the NS side of the deal, my wording was a bit weird and I was a bit unclear on that. FA losing their districts would not have mate them PC irrelevant, OH has shown (I'll admit, much to my surprise), that it is possible to make some progress against DNS. So, no, joining DNS wasn't your only option. Having FA on the right side of things alone would have completely changed the way of thinking that I now possess. FA was the one ally that we had in the beginning of DNS's takeover that still gave me hope that it was possible to make progress against them. The fact that someone has been able to at least get their foot in the door shows that your "DNS or irrelevance" argument is baseless.
