Do we play the third match when we won the first two?

This is all good now can we get some clarification for Mondays games and the no shows urgent fury is reflecting it for us in the NA LADDER I posted this elsewhere but will explain my corp showed up all my my team was there the enemy team showed up but backed out before we could get pics the second and third matches they were no shows and have pics to prove it if needed. As I understand it this counts as a win for us .

The best way other than the forums is to submit a support ticket under the "DUST Community & Forums" category. However, during the matches I'll try to sit in the "DUST 514 Tournament" channel. Do note that I can not guarantee that I will always be in the channel as some of the matches (especially NA) start after midnight local time. Please also do not use the channel for any other kind of discussion, including general tournament discussion.

We run it, but technically it would be optional as you already have it 2-(1). If you destroyed your enemies earlier, who's to say no to free ISK? Plus beating someone 3-0 is always sweeter than 2-1.

EDIT: Just as confusing is the fact that Kill Em Quick has 2 rounds tallied, both as wins, yet somehow only has 3 points. How is that possible?

Scoring: The only thing scored is the overall result of the best of three. This means that a 2-1 win is the same as a 3-0 win. The main number you should be looking at is the total XP - don't worry about Total Points. You get 75xp for win, 25 for draw and 10 for a loss. ...

Mondays match will be rematched (altough the Venezuela Corp did not show up), wednesday we won 3-0 against Ninth Legion Freelance, and today we had also a no show by Academy Inferno. If our oponnents dont post the results its not our fault.

when do AE, TP, and RND play eachother? who'll be the first to lose?

I get where you are coming from, i would not have minded to play it yesterday but i was telling all my guys that the fight was Monday, so i had almost no people online on Friday. i agree that the tournament is bad and i appreciate logi bro helping out but its too late.
EU league is already decided imo, In the top 3 will be the following corps, ..NFP, GAC and WTF. the only other active corp is tech guard and la 501 but they already have been beaten by the 'top 3 corps'

LA 501 gave use some brilliant matches, imo. My favourite of the ones we've fought so far.

Thanks for the answer. However, it seems that we may have a problem. Yesterday we formed again (for the x time) and waited for the match to open.


-First match opened at the usual timer, and we got in. Only one guy from Rust 415 (xPERYNX xPERYNX) joined the other side, and he left before the match started.

-Second match, no one from Rust 415 showed.


So we assumed that since everything worked as supposed, we won by no show. However, a Rust 415 representative has made a complaint in the UrgentFury site. Thread here. (Note that this thread was started by me a week ago about the rescheduled matches that were supposed to be played then. Relevant posts are the 2 last ones).

So we would like to know if we finally win by no show, or of there is going to be a re-rescheduled match to be played.

I really want to convey how much we all appreciate your hard work in and around this event. I personally think some people are being a bit melodramatic with the complaining but I do believe we've all felt some frustration in simply trying to participate in the event. And the few ways we have of contributing seem to be unreliable at best. All that being said, thanks again for your efforts on our behalf.

Questions to the community:

• Does anyone have any definitive information on which teams have been disqualified or have dropped out? I've heard of 2 teams being elligible for disqualification but nothing concrete about their status. I've also seen a few teams which appear to be No-Shows at all their games. Can anyone confirm?


• Has anyone been able to nail down which teams will not be playing each other? The roster and schedules seem to differ depending on how you access them on UF's website. There are only 18 scheduled regular rounds (non-rematch rounds) and 21 teams. Unless I failed arithmetic (unpossible), a round-robin would require a total of 20 rounds. I believe I worked out that we (Contract Hunters) will not be playing RND - but I'm not even certain about that. This is obviously a fairness issue for all participating teams.


• What do you guys think about using this thread, or creating another thread on this website, to track the Wins/Losses? We would still have to update UF for official purposes. But we would have a similar Results-Post-Confirm system where we state the outcomes in simple format and the thread starter can updated the results. We'd all have an accurate and much more reliable/accessible place to view the current standings.

1. Why make us play a round robin league, if afterwards it is going to be decided by a bracket tournament? What's the point of the 3 previous weeks? A league of 10, to eliminate 2 teams and have a bracket tournament of 8? And 2 of those 8 have not played a single match?

2. I wonder if you have noticed that Academy Inferno and Ninth Legion Freelance have not showed up for a single game. So Rust 415 and Tech Guard get a free pass (no pun intended) to the semifinal.


Why are you going out of your way to make this tournament as convoluted, complex and tiresome as you can? We came for fun battles. And the ones we have had have been fun, but few and far between all those no shows. And now we have to do it all over again.

I think that a lot of teams have had enough of this tournament and dust in general. I would like to suggest the following.
If the teams can agree on an end score the tournament could be over now. I am suggesting to base this off the round robin scores.

Isn't the point of running a round-robin that you can use that to seed the elimination part properly and try to ensure that the best teams meet each other in the semi finals and finals?

Well, they didn't show for ours. And from WTF and NFP comments, they didn't show to their fights either. The same with Academy Inferno.

My bet is that they didn't show up for their quarter final match, but Rust 415 is the only one that can confirm that.

And now compare your situation with NFP. They won the league phase. Now, in quarters, they get into the same bracket as WTF (another top 3 team in the league phase, CCP still does not understand how to make brackets, go figure that). As a result, we were in a situation where 1 of the top 3 teams in the tournament is not going to be able to fight even for the 3rd spot, while the 4th and 5th teams in the league are going to get a free pass to semis and a chance for at least 3rd place for free.

How do we get our record fixed on the website. It is not correct. Of course all of our losses are recorded but our wins are not. Also, we have accidentally lost to Outer Heaven twice but only played them once. My team Leader has inquired with UF about this multiple times but nothing has been done. Logibro, can I get an answer please?

No, you are not supposed to have anyone not on the roster in the battles. I would ask you to also submit a support ticket with the details you have above along with the names of the people that you didn't see on the roster. I'll start looking into it on this end.

I had this issue during a match on Sept 2nd vs Latino Killers Corp. I submitted a ticket at urgent fury and made a post in the forums and now 10 days later still have not received a response. Is there somewhere on these forums I need to submit a support ticket as well and if so where ?

We went to UF, registered our players. We have played only with our registered players. We have formed countless times for no show ups. We have formed for scheduled matches that then did not appear.


We are tired of this tournament and its bad organization. If rules have been breached, and I don't care by whom, then GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER and punish the offending teams/players.


A lot of my players have had to change their real life schedules to be able to participate in tomorrow's final. It's not our fault that people don't follow the rules, or that brackets were not done right, or that you hesitate to apply your rules or don't even know which rules you have.


But we are not ready to pay for it. We did our part, followed the rules and were there for every match. If you make us repeat all this, you will be punishing us instead of the offenders. And we are damn tired of wasting hours of hour life for things that are not our fault.
