Oh, I know it was scheduled for Monday. That's what I am asking, why schedule it for Monday when they could have put if for today? Why make everyone wait for the sake of waiting? Specially considering that the NA league have a match today, so it is not because CCP has some holiday or something like that. Also, why say in the message they sent, that if nobody replied the rescheduled match would be on Thursday, and then not making the match on Thursday because nobody replied?  We are tired of the tournament. I know that logibro and co are doing their best, but the format was bad, and the execution worse. We were really looking forward to finish it this week. I really pity the NA corps that have to do this for another month. No problem with you guys. Just tired. You are the better team, but we will do our best to give you a decent match. Until Monday. I get where you are coming from, i would not have minded to play it yesterday but i was telling all my guys that the fight was Monday, so i had almost no people online on Friday. i agree that the tournament is bad and i appreciate logi bro helping out but its too late. EU league is already decided imo, In the top 3 will be the following corps, ..NFP, GAC and WTF. the only other active corp is tech guard and la 501 but they already have been beaten by the 'top 3 corps' LA 501 gave use some brilliant matches, imo. My favourite of the ones we've fought so far.
Yeah 501 gave us the closest matches so far out of the people we have played
Map 2 was so close that if they captured a NULL cannon 2 seconds earlier than they did, they would have won |

Regardless of the fact our 27 consecutive wins didnt even produce a correct seed, I almost got over 25 officer weapons in loot over the matches and upwards of 2m isk per match, a very fun way to get a decent profit
GG to all, even if we won our match i would have felt bad because then WTF would have been cheated out of a 3rd place attempt
(i want wolfmans scrambler pistols, please field them next tourney so i can get that in loot instead of Krin, Thale and Balac weapons :P) |

So yes we broke those ****** rule but how many EU corps can actually put 16 players every two days ? I apologize to everybody for the inconvenience, personnally GAC. But we just wanted to give you all good fights.
Bare in mind that the only reason most of the NFP's members are in NFP is because they didn't have the numbers to do a 16v16 format after UF changed it from 8v8 to 16v16, hell i initially joined NFP as one of the backbench to make the numbers up to allow NFP to compete, i didn't plan on being one of the main players
Our random selection of people still managed to make up at least 12-16 members every match night, so it is not just you that was "bringing life to the tourney"
another thing to note is that CCP did not control this tourney, the rules provided are from urgent fury, the (apparent) hosts |

The attitude of WTF towards rules in the tournament, however they might think towards them, is shocking.
It doesn't matter how dumb your team thinks the rules are, you agreed to them when you signed up to the tournament, you then have the audacity to break those rules repeatedly, claim its ok and then blame it on teams that have lost?
At this point I honestly don't care if NFP get back into the tournament, GAC has been repeatedly messed around because of your actions, they are the ones losing out the most at the moment and if i'm honest, I would be happy if GAC automatically won this tournament right now.
Don't try to blame other teams when it is your team that broke the rules.
I would have expected that at least some of you would be mature enough to understand that you are breaking rules and recognise the consequences that follow. |
