Mondays match will be rematched (altough the Venezuela Corp did not show up), wednesday we won 3-0 against Ninth Legion Freelance, and today we had also a no show by Academy Inferno. If our oponnents dont post the results its not our fault.

KatanaPT Tech Guard General Tso's Alliance 273	Posted - 2013.08.18 11:41:00 - [5] - Quote Well, the UF website is one of the worst i have seen, its heavy on resources, it loads up several plugins and apps at the same time, takes quite a while to fully load and its hard to navigate on, also they never heard of Networks and static IPs because your workbuddy cant register if you have already registered from the same IP, all that and the general look of it does not chime in as being professional, so, sorry, but i have to disagree.

And for the love of God, next time you do a tournament, use your own tools, server data and team, instead of relying on unprofessional websites that only asked for people to register, which, once this crap ends, i will ask everyone on my team to unregister.

I wonder if you have noticed that Academy Inferno and Ninth Legion Freelance have not showed up for a single game. So Rust 415 and Tech Guard get a free pass (no pun intended) to the semifinal. Why are you going out of your way to make this tournament as convoluted, complex and tiresome as you can? We came for fun battles. And the ones we have had have been fun, but few and far between all those no shows. And now we have to do it all over again. Complex =\|= smart, CCP. Kudos to Logibro for trying his best to do his job, and to the other corps that actually showed to play. It seems this will take a little longer yet. PD: I blame American Sport Leagues for the league+playoff system. They only did it to squeeze more money from their followers, but it's been copied by everyone. + 1 000 000 Ninth Legion Freelance and Academy Inferno didn't show up in the tournament and they are in quarters final ? I think lack of information is the only thing to blame as there are no scheduled matches on UF. And as a sidenote, for the LOVE OF GOD, never use UF again to organize a Dust tournament.

My bet is that they didn't show up for their quarter final match, but Rust 415 is the only one that can confirm that. Yes, i understand that, hombre, but they did show up for ours, i understand we are in no way in the same level as Gac, Wtf and Nfp, but us being in this tournament is not tottally out of credit :P, and altough we will get crushed again this wednesday, we hope to at least put up some sort of resistance, even in the way a body resists to plasma bullets :P

KatanaPT Tech Guard General Tso's Alliance 299	Posted - 2013.09.12 14:47:00 - [17] - Quote In all honesty, this tournament is a perfect example on how you should NOT do a tournament: First, the communication process which is terrible with teams not knowing in what date and hour their matches were suposed to be and the only way to find out was with a inconsistent and heavy on the browser website that basically said FU to our attempts to sort this Second, the need to register each and everyone in a foreign website when clearly there is no need for it when what we are representing is the corp and not players, next time just do corp vs corp ( i know everything about ringers and that crap, but as long the player is a veteran of said corp there is no need to mistrust) and obviously CCP tracks all the stats of who belongs to whom and when we play and who kills what. Third, the way some teams clearly gave a crap should have been a warning they woulndt even participate in the tournament, you miss one game and your out of the torney, final. A kick in the arse. Fourth, altough we are fighting for third place in EU league (as if...) , i feel as a player that this is strongly unfair to the top 3 teams and specially the best team in the EU, which is NFP. Fifth. For the love of God, next time dont rely on UF for brackets, setting dates, etc, CCP should do this using ONLY EVETIME, and in a way every member of any corp should be informed, via ingame mail, announcement, etc, so everyone knows their games and dates. Sixth. I hope my wife feeds me friday during the excruciating 7 games in a row.

I will not be participating again in one, that's for sure. EDIT: And the fact that we followed the rules, does not mean that we don't think some of them are stupid. Making people registering on UF to participate was a bad move. A lot of the no shows and low player participation owe to that. Having the corps registered and making sure that only players with at least a 15 days or a month in the corp could participate would have made things easier, and more fun, for everyone.
