I think the original poster wanted slugs for the mass driver. All kinetic energy for high direct damage and no splash. Probably a sabot, so flatter arc. OP said faster rate of fire and more ammo. Sounds like a interesting variant to me.

I like the idea, but it does sound like a third game. It would have to be a directly controlled craft on the eve grid, the dust client is not set up for the eve grid and eve doesn't allow that kind of control. It could be a bridge between the game...

A 30 damage AR shot with 150% damage bonus is doing 75 damage per hit. To clarify are the damage mods the bonus or the total damage including the bonus? The scrambler pistol damage seems very high either way, I wonder if it is higher on scramble...

Smg have a slightly faster turn and run speed then ar, in old builds with a scout it was noticeable. The Minmatar weapons like smg should have more recoil then the ar. The ar needs more, but not as much as smg. The Minmatar rifle should kick a lot.

Armour plates should be percentage based off of current plate on assault suit. So, they are buffed on heavies and nerfed on scouts that shouldn't use them much anyway. Infantry armour resit modules would also help the balance.
