I agree players should have some mobility while falling from the MCC. As it is you have the time it takes to spawn in and the additional time it takes to fall to the ground. This makes for an impractical choice of spawn locations in most situations.

The skill is in getting close enough to take that "one shot". You can't expect to kill someone with a shotgun from the same range as an assault rifle. I've used a shotgun and been killed with shotguns. Personally I don't see an issue with them.
