Lea Silencio wrote: It is you unfocused. Nothing has changed. Fair enough, guess not playing for a few days means I lose more than just the login bonus ;).

342. Was hit detection and/or aim assist tweaked in this patch? - in General Discussions [original thread]
Subject. Something feels different and people are harder to kill (which could just be me being unfocused, or lag etc. I guess).

The damage wouldn't be a problem if they were truly short range (or didn't retain quite a bit of that damage way past their max range). Can't nerf the range before adding some true mid/long range alternatives though.

Meeko Fent wrote: They aren't? I remember seeing mine... They aren't listed on the e-peen board, which I guess matters to some people ;). EDIT: I'm all for more stats at the end of battle though so I hope they add this.

345. Giving scouts a role - in General Discussions [original thread]
Scouts used to have a base range of 25m on the passive scanner. We lost that in Uprising, along with a 6th slot at proto levels... Getting those two back would be a start, sure enough, but quite frankly we needed some love even before those nerfs.

349. Has Aim Assist been reduced? - in General Discussions [original thread]
Only thing it seems to do now is yank my aim away from the target I'm trying to hit now and then. Other than that I can hardly tell if it's on or not (even in the cases where it was obvious a few days ago). Wish we could just get better precision...

351. Chromozone (sp) was better than uprising. agree or disagree? - in General Discussions [original thread]
Chromosome was certainly better in some areas: Graphics were less blurred and blocky. There was less flicker. It was easy to make out which pixels constituted part of an enemy, and which didn't. Uprising allows prettier screen shots though, for w...

352. Weapon Range Graph (most of them at least) - in General Discussions [original thread]
I like the graph ;). EDIT: Looks to me like ARs could do with a much shorter falloff, especially now that they hit for >20% damage way past that anyway.

AR: Maybe they could lower the range a bit. According to the lore plasma weapons are supposed to hit really hard but suffer from poor range. Currently the difference in effective range between AR (short) and SR/laser (medium-long) is hardly notice...

I agree, there have been too many threads about aim assist. Lets all get back to this subject already. Good to see things are slowly getting back to normal here. ;)

I'll stop buying boosters if they bring back the Omega ones. I can justify paying the equivalent of a monthly MMO fee for a "free" game, but not if that only gives a sub-par variant.

Great, so now we get an error message when the game thinks we're in combat even though we're not. This doesn't fix the problem! The bug still prevents us from joining a game.
