521. CCP:What if NPC corps gave BPC's - in General Discussions [original thread]
If anything BPCs should be rewards given to player run corps as an incentive to take / win corporation contracts. Preferably through the loyalty point mechanic. Points go to the corp, directors buy the BPCs out of the loyalty store and then distri...

From what I've been told, the merc quarters uses carbon. My suspicion /hope is that when they get time to finish walking in stations we'll be able to meet capsuleers "face" to face.

524. Dust 514 and Eve Online PI - in General Discussions [original thread]
One of the ideas I recall being mentioned in a fanfest clip was making it so there is some kind of bonus for placing a PI command centre inside the borders of a district, which would allow the holder of the district to extract taxes from the PI sy...

527. Armor heavy vs shield heavy - in General Discussions [original thread]
Armor is also easier to skill into. The skill that boosts your armour amount is at the bottom of the skill tree (infantry mechanics I think now). Shield on the other hand takes a lot more skill points, and your total shield hp doesn't start going ...

528. Orbital Strikes - in General Discussions [original thread]
Just had a game where we farmed warpoints like crazy, with two eve guys in orbit with small guns + bombardment ammo, but no joy. Both capsuleers were in our dust corp, but the only off map support I ever got was the warbarge strike. One guy saw a ...

531. are mouse controls still awful? - in General Discussions [original thread]
If you turn mouse smoothing off the sensitivity isn't too low. In fact, the main trouble I have now is that the sensitivity is too high. Playing with smoothing on just isn't possible yet.

Reducing your profile actually worked last build too, via the dropsuit command skill. Myself and a few other players noticed that when we got that skill trained to 4 we suddenly had a much easier time sneaking up on people. Now we have several ski...

536. How do you playas a scout? - in General Discussions [original thread]
The idea of speed isn't to literally run in circles around your enemy, but to use speed and cover to get behind your enemy and get the drop on them. The biomass facility is great for that. Early last build I used that tactic as a shotgun scout on ...
