No evidence but I would say most likely, the skill requirements and bonuses are going to be changed around to the point where the current setup would be impossible to just transfer over like you're adding a new weapon.

Think the main problem here is that vehicles don't have weak points they have hit points, Its not like you need to hit a tank on every panel of armor until a shot makes it through. Probably way too early to work this in but having separate HP for ...
