I have to tell you it wasn't very much fun. I have played about 500 hours of this game and have yet to see a close match. Are there any plans in the works to make this game a little more fun and a little less depressing? |

How sure are you? I mean the concept of a fair chance is like game design 101 and they haven't done a whole lot about it in almost a year.
The strange thing is ccp handled this quite well in Eve. Why don't they just make a system of graduated levels for players just like the security zones in Eve. In fact, they could use the Eve sec. ratings already.
It's like they are hoping that I will try spending aurum to stop getting pub stomped, which isn't going to happen.
Shame on you CCP |

There are plenty of close matches, been playing for more than 500hrs and it hasn't been hard to find them. This patch has seen some scotty issues already. Check out the Spawn Jammer, it may help turn the tide against proto stompers. |

I've seen that said by ex-players in posts before. They hated that fact and like I said before , try making a character that doesn't use the boosters , buys that AURUM items , be they weapons , drop suits or whatever and see how much fun you will have and how long you play with that character. Once they get everything balanced out though , I think you will see a lot better gameplay and a lot of the ex-players coming back. But they need to balance it out. I'm not like most but I hope that they do it before I die or become too old to enjoy it. I hope they are taking their time so they can make sure after doing so , they wont have to go back and do it again. |

Just give us some faqing filters now.
Let me choose if I want to play with proto or not, or with squads or not
Just, do it now before this REALLY gets out of hand.
(These filters work off of that the proto suit/weapon (None of the other things really imbalance the matches) and then the game makes those fits invalid (Like when you run out of fits or CPU and PG is over limits) and Ta-da. Matchmaking fixed. ) |

weird, these days I have far more close matches than stomps.
Don't play FW and except any kind of matchmaking though.
What makes you think they got this right in EVE? last time I checked, eve didn't have any matchmaking or stops for stomping/dropping/blopping or how you want to call it? |

Couple of questions: Are you running solo when you are queuing? If you are, how long are the wait times, both estimated and actual?
In any case, I believe somebody accidentally knocked a power switch somewhere as it feels to have been working around 1.4 and now with 1.5 out, someone tripped on the power strip....
Or tripped and ripped it out of the wall... |

Agree it's an issue. in the description of Pub Matches, it says "intended for lone wolves, or small squads". If CCP made that the case, the it would help with pubstomping |

The game is not Broken... There are currently, what? 3000 ps3 dust players? and out of all 3000 of them, 1000 have 5m+ total sp and out of those 1000, 200 have 10m+ total sp.
Once dust gets more players, games will be more diverse and less of a "am i going to get my ass handed to me" or "lets go make a strawberry pie out of them reds!" type of game.
Also gotta remember everyone collects passive sp, so if a guy doesn't like the game one month and he desides to come back and check the game again 4 months later... boooooom! he has 2m unallocated sp points just waitng to be tinkered with. |

Dude. Dust will never get more players if you stomp them every match.
and btw, the fact that there are only 3000 people playing = complete and utter fail of the game. |

Open World Dust 514:Lobby meets Sandbox It's a good idea, but considering the huge number of planets we have, along with having everyone on an open map may just cause PC level lag for everyone |

I'm sorry, but I disagree with this. I think the goal of the game is patience and dedication. NOW- I am not the best Dust player in the world (I have over 3,000 deaths and only a little over 1,000 kills.......in counting). But I try to think of ways to improve on my game skills ad take into account what I haven't done (that must be what the dropsuits are for), and work on that.
Not to mention there will always be trollz who think they are better than everyone else- IN EVERY GAME. That won't change. |

removing gimmicks from the game would help. Make nades non refillable, stop Ugie pie players from abusing the MD, assign scanners as scout only. This would be a good start. |

Next time you get stomped notice how many uplinks the other team has deployed compared to your team.
Notice how many scanners are running compared to your team.
Notice how many decent logis the other team has compared to your team.
Notice how the team doing the stomping defends cannons and waits for the change before moving to the next one.
It's gameplay that enables the stomp not the gear. |

There's probably plenty of plans, but obviously this kind of thing still happens, the only thing you can really do is run with good squads and work on buffing your character. Maybe work in some more flexibility, so you can at least do something if it's a really bad match. |

I've only just noticed myself that public contract, when it does work and get a game together, gets guys of a somewhat similar power level. |

There's not enough people online to sepperate battles that much, 4k people at peak hours So right now thats less than 1000 per game mode 16 man teams so 32 per game So that's about 30 games of each type going on at one time Assuming each maych takes 15 minutes with a 3 minute que About 1/5 of people would be queuing up for a match at one time so about 6 total matches. That would mean 1/6 of the player base would need your exact preferences to fill a match this isn't including people editing their suits, talking in a chat channel eating bathroom afking or anything else this also at peak hours So at peak you'd need close to 35% of dust using your preferences and 40% of dust using your preferences at non peak |
