Actually, 30-days were good to use in these last weeks as you needed their benefit every day. In the future, it makes sense to buy 1 or 3 day to cap one char , and do the same to another one.

You have three character slots to use, it's not that you're forced to play with that old character of yours for ten hours. Delete one of the characters a bit earlier. Or, if you like testing new basic things at a moments notice, keep one slot open.
