The problem is it has the worst range of all rifles. AND, in its optimal range it's still outperformed by the assault combat rifle. Lot of people say it's easy to use and it has no overheat, etc etc... Well, it's the same with the ACR, only that ...

Problem is, all scanning modules would only be good for solo play. There's no way you can effectively inform your squad on comms where the enemy is, and absolutely no way to do so without comms.
