101. How many people are unhappy with Tank 514 ? - in General Discussions [original thread]
+1 I actually think the problem isn't with individual tanks vs AV, but with tank spam vs AV. I'm cool with it taking 2 or 3 AV infantry to counter a tank, but when you have 3 or 4 red tanks on the field you can't give up that many people. The r...

103. Does anyone else feel like ALL the assault rifles should have an overheat mechanic? - in General Discussions [original thread]
Sometimes I feel like I'm the only one who believes that an overheat mechanic for a small arm is stupid. Especially an overheat mechanic that hurts the user - a weapon that may have to discharge dangerous amounts of heat would discharge them away...

104. Sticky:Manus Peak Skirmish Feedback - in Skirmish Gamemode [original thread]
On the few (perhaps only 1) variation where grid H6 around point C isn't covered by a plug-in, the terrain in the area has a nasty tendency to get players stuck. Problem area may cross into H5 and I6 as well. In most map variations, these large b...

107. Common Sense: Make the Assault class mirror the Logistics class - in General Discussions [original thread]
Ripley Riley wrote: ...The zoom bonus is pretty nice. At V that would be a 10% increase in zoom, so that would take a x3 zoom to x3.3. Not sure most players would notice that. 4% more zoom might be more appropriate, but we'll start with 2% and...

108. 1.8 devblogs - in General Discussions [original thread]
Scouts can sneak around without being noticed just fine right now, they don't need to be literally invisible. Changing the role bonus to force them down that path is a horrible idea. Basing their stealthiness around cloaks means they won't be able...

109. Common Sense: Make the Assault class mirror the Logistics class - in General Discussions [original thread]
Caldari Assault/Rail Rifle user here. As others have mentioned, increasing the zoom doesn't really help us. I actually kind of like your idea of reducing charge up time, as it would make the Rail rifle much more viable in close quarters, but it wo...

110. To CCP Remnant - Concerning Future Equipment Changes - in General Discussions [original thread]
I'm going to echo that this problem needs a real solution to fix, not a band aid. However, sometimes you need to use the first aid kit before you get to the hospital, so alternatives (depending on how easy/difficult they are to implement) should a...

111. Announcement:Announcing 12 Days of DUST! [December 25th GÇô January 5th] - in Announcement and Events [original thread]
I like the implementation of this event, but I think the rewards given out could have been thought out better. Quafe suits are cool looking, but it's a proto suit that only a small subset of players can wear; they'll sit in inventories until we ge...

113. Remove Assault Swarm Launchers From The Game - in General Discussions [original thread]
Regular proto swarms are the only ones still effective against anything; splitting your fire between two targets just makes them even more ineffectual. The suppression argument was valid when they had 400 meter lock on range, but now that swarms a...
