CCP recently stated that they were looking at balancig shield vs armor tanking for vehicles. Expect a terrible "rebalance" sometime within the next few years. Also, who wants to bet that one of the very few things that CCP will do for shield veh...

I'd like to give an alternate suggestion: Revert missile damage mods back to a 20% damage bonus like they were a long time ago and keep railgun and blaster damage mods at 10%. Hopefully this will give a bigger edge to a shield tank with missiles...

My biggest cause of death when in my Charybdis: AI blaster turret shoots me out at full speed. I'd much rather worry less about being shot out of my seat by an AI cotrolled blaster turret and worry more about players trying to destroy my Chary.
