I do think the size of the map plus the game mode should dictate the amount of havs a map should allow. More than two on the smallest map in ambush turn into tanks killing you before your done spawning. but that would require alot of programming b...

I agree with you on all points on this. I tend to use nanohives in place of the uplink to fit better modules onto my suit. On ambush that means I am less effect if I bring uplinks, so i go with the cheaper hives to have more play on other modules.
