The default keyboard controls are not that great or natural to FPS's and its a pain to try to figure out what button does what when the onscreen buttons only show controller buttons.
All i ask for is an option that allows me to toggle onscreen buttons to show either controller or keyboard controls and the ability to change the keyboard controls to whatever i want to set them for and even set some of they keys to mouse like the MMB.
X shouldn't be grenade because X is a pain to press when your trying to avoid getting shot. So the ability to change the keys will make alot of us mouse and keyboard users happy.
Most of you will say "Just use a controller".
No i don't want to use a controller because im far more accurate and play a hell of alot better with mouse and keyboard. The only reason i use my PS3 is to play dust because i can use a mouse and keyboard.
I also heard some people complaining about mouse sensitivity being low. It seems fine to me but that could be because i have a high DPI mouse. So the ability to increase that more would also be nice.

as it stands I still use the controller for setting squad orders/orbital strikes, calling in vehs, checking the map, and anything out of game for the ease of use. Custom KB/M is needed. I also want the old scroll through weapons/ equipment back on mouse wheel. Maybe put a button in to enable /disable equipment on scroll button. As a logi having to use the mouse as holding down another button is awkward, and always causes me to be facing way down and to the left as you have to drag the mouse to the icon you want to select, but the mouse is still acting as your directional controls at the same time. That is totally unacceptable. |
